  • Happy Holidays everyone!!! I hope this video is "just-in-time" for the Christmas and may help some of you with those last minute cards you need to hand out. :) In this video, I show how I use wash tape and hand lettering to decorate and personalize cheap notecards from the Target Dollar Spot or Michael's. I hope you find it helpful and TFW!!!

Love your video presentation style - your voice is so soothing. You could read the instruction manual of a computer and I would watch it.
Thanks for showing more handlettering. I have found your first handlettering video really inspirational. I'm now using 2 styles from it all the time - the "emphasise the down stroke" and "two fast lines for first line". They are making my planner look so much better. I especially love how I can colour in the gaps to make words really stand out. This video has you doing more cursive which I've tried but will need lots more practice before it looks good.
Can I request some cards using stamps? I have some stamps but I can't seem to get them to behave!! I end up using them on the back of the envelope as a sealer where it doesn't matter so much.

Enjoying your videos from Japan! "Washi" means "Japanese paper" as I am sure that you know. Do those tapes actually have anything to do with Japan?

+masaegu I don't think they have anything to do with Japan...lol. I love paper tape because its so versatile. Happy Holidays!

+masaegu I thought washi tapes originate from Japan lol. Didn't know any washi tape but "mt" before I began to watch planner videos on youtube.
