This was such an inspiration. Being more Tom Waits inspired than EDM it was cool to see someone doing stuff with this aesthetic in LP. I'm also a guitarist so the percussion stuff is my almost unsolvable problem, that and lack of motivation. I saw you use Autony and forgot that I bought it for much the same reason. I also use Objeq along with saturation plugs etc to convert guitar sounds into percussion but using midi guitar looks cool too. The way you've pulled all those things together into such a cool template is very clever. Now I have to check out more of your videos, I think the music you make would probably appeal to me. Thanks for making the video!

That MIDI guitar stuff is really cool!

Great stuff! Lots of ideas to steal from here, and a really clean and logical layout. Thanks for posting.

Wooooow! That gives so much inspiration, thanks! It’s seems like I should try Objeq and Slammer 😄 By the way, I’d mention FosFat. It would help with any piezo input (ukulele, wooden stomp, and etc)

Thanks Max - I really admire your work, so it's great to hear you got something from this! Thanks for the tip too, will give it a go.

RE: YES, Fosfat helps a LOT! Super clear how you can target the frequencies etc. - one for the kick, one for the snare - though the stomp is still a bit of a problem. Thanks again!

Amazing stuff!! You’ve really made me feel so stupid. I thought I was getting a handle on LP. Not EVEN close!! I keep watching!!

Thanks! Not a matter of stupidity, though - only lots of time and playing around, and keeping an eye on what others come up with. Generally, if you want it to do something, there will probably be a way to make it happen 🙃

Very nice indeed. Any chance you could upload the project somewhere and link it so we can have a more detailed look?

Thanks! I'm a bit skeptical of its direct usefulness, but I guess I could share the template over email - send a request to the obscure address you can find in my channel info?

@@UnlikelyArrangements Thanks very much. I already use digistix with some buttons, but I'm curious what else you have going on there.

Nice setup! I’ll prob steal a few things for sure. Side note, where did you get that stand for your bass uke? That would be a nice addition

Thanks! It's the cheapest acoustic guitar stand from Thomann, not the most reliable for a full-sized guitar but great for this. Many happy accidents, though: having also attached a ukulele holder to the stand, and noticed that a standard neck strap is not great for carrying the bass uke, I used these two together to secure the instrument on the stand :).

Very clever but not really helpful to anyone new

thankfully it was super helpful to me, who is someone old. You'll be old one day so don't worry

      Thank you Simon
I am glad this was a help to you and gives me encouragement
Truth is I am new to Loopy and also an old man
I have really been struggling to find my way into this and can see the content here is huge what a clever guy
Ok probably It’s far to advanced for me and I can’t take it all in but after a couple of weeks pulling my hair out with other tutorials that seem to leave out crucial details and reading the manual
I am not so frustrated although
it’s been two weeks now and I still can not figure out why loops fall out of sync after I use a reverse loop widget that I set up In my template
I did belong to the loopy HD forum but it closed so I think I should find a place to find some loopy kind help for old folk and imbeciles,, well that’s how I feel
I am trying to make a template and have a rough one in the making but it’s understanding the clip settings and how to set up pedal bindings that get me I must be a bloody fool.
Again I appreciate your comments to my frustrations I will update that particular comment as I agree it really is full of content to help most people understand how to improve unfortunately I must be quite stupid I only want to record my songs and not have to think to much😩
