I love the sound of the straight-cut clutch basket gear, most audible at 3:30-3:46. That's one of the reasons why riding the old CB750 is so much fun, it sounds like a proper piece of mechanic engineering.
@MetalliEd1 that is true, I was looking for seven fifty in that color for very long. That was only one option :) Now i ride cbf1000 and it's orange too :)
Back in 1971 when I had just turned 19 I bought my first Honda...... a brand new 1971 CB750. What an incredible bike!!! I red lined that baby a zillion times, that engine was bullet proof and what an beautiful exhaust sound it made (an angry growl that would make people's head snap back), In 1972 they took the growl away and switched to quiet exhaust pipes :( I put around 60,000 miles on her over the 7 years I had it. :)
Beautiful place to ride, nice footage. What set up did you use to do the film? Was you using Wide - 170º or not and was 720 or 1080p? Congrats, cool film.
I have one of these. My second one. Best all round bike I know of, classy and reliable, build quality excellent. . One end of England to the other and you can still walk !! Bike magazine didn't like it - not fast enough in first gear for them.
W CB750 też masz puste wydechy? Jak zrobiłeś że słychać wydechy a nie wiatr? Dokupiłeś extra mikrofon? A to ładne wykadrowanie? Masz LCD? Bo mi się to nie udawało wielokrotnie.
you are true :) but this was the last day she was with me , next day I sold her .... but to my best friend who is riding her now :) Yes, that was too fast :)
Is that the stock exhuast? if not what exhuast is it? Thanks for this video by the way, I just bought one of these and I'm picking it up in a few days and this is my favourite video to watch when I'm feeling excited about it.
+Bryn Slowley it is stock exhaust but I drill the pins and cut out the whole silencing pipe that is inside the can. 30 mins of work and the sound is way better.
If it was a 1971 CB750 you wouldn't have to drill any pins or cut out the silencing pipe. 1971 was the last year a stock CB750 had an incredible growl to it, I 1972 they took the growl away!!! :'(
Would you mind going into a little more detail where you cut it? My Nighthawk 750 was drilled by the previous owner, but it's still too quiet. A whisper compared to my stock Vulcan. Did you cut the neck off of the silencer "funnel"? Thanks

Great video. I am glad you didn't add any stupid music. Allow us to hear the engine and the wind that is the way it should be!

Wow,that IS some beautiful country over there!!! Love those smoothly paved roads too!!! NICE!!!
