Great to see a CB750 been riden with gusto! I notice a lot of retro bikes have the old bike look but their engines although having the same top speed do not possess the sportiness of the originals. Also many people today who ride these old bikes ride them at a pedestrian rate. It must be remembered that bikes like the CB750 where super sports bikes in their day and these engines where set up in such a way that they revved freely and they were meant to be thrashed a little bit!
@@walterdebruyn6664 I think he might have rebuild the engine which would make it less prone to blowing up. Also those old honda fours are very reliable. Personally I would never redline a bike, I have seen a few engines blowing up by doing this so why bother! Also he's riding the bike at 80mph with shorts on, not such a good idea either if he falls off he will be needing some skin grafts!
I like to run the shit out of my cb750. One of my favorite videos is of a cb350 where the rider just flogs the hell out of it. ua-cam.com/video/emjPQhb8-nc/v-deo.html

Has one of the best Honda cb750 videos on UA-cam, only posts one video. Please post some more videos on the exhaust and your bike in general, we'd love to watch them ! :)
Watched the video late at night while wearing my Sony headphones that I got from my doughier long ago. The sound is an matched by any other wireless device, thank you for such a wander full ride. You have inspired many. Thank you….thank you!!!
You seem to live in wonderland, lol. Good and empty roads, green all around. No way to drive like that in Italy, lol. Amazing sound, btw. Ride safe bro
Gorgeous bike man. Great vid. I just bought my first bike at 48 and I like to get the on board perspective and as much info I can before I take my course and start to practice.
If You noticed like I did..........his RPM gauge was jumping all over the place when downshifting and/or coming to redline. I'm guessing he's got a worn Rpm gear.
dude that is fucking beautiful!!!! do you still have the bike? If so you should make some videos about what you have done to it. I am considering building a racer on the 750 base. yours is by far the nicest i've seen on youtube. Share your knowledge with the plebes my man!
70's owners manual told not to rev the engine "outside the red zone". I don't know if t hey called for aggressive riding and if the red zone was there to indicate "max power zone" or something like that. :-)
An old boss had 2 of these, which here in Brazil are called seven roosters because 50 is the number of the rooster in a game. He bought them both after bringing a load of cigarettes from Paraguay.
Most likely to smooth out the 1st to 2nd gear shift. My 77 Yamaha XS750 has a hard upshift from those and I have to blip it to prevent the dogs from slipping before getting into gear. Syncs the engine to the transmission. Usually not needed on bikes so this is just my experience on my bike talking.
THis proves its not how fast you are going but how you sound as you going.CB750 makes about 65HP not the most powerful bike however it sounds like its 150HP.Perception is everything.Love this bike!
Very nice sound man! Why are you blipping between gearing up? To me it only makes sense blipping going down a gear to get into the same rpm range needed for the lower gear to fall into it.
Wow, really nice video, I wonder if I could use part of this clip in a compilation video about classic superbikes? Of course with your credits on it and link to your video for people to visit your channel. I always like to ask first, thank you so much!
Mom says i can't get a motorcycle untill im 18 and can pay for my own insurance for it. I hope there will still be a 750 for sale somewhere by then dream bike 😍
Have you got your bike yet ? I had my SL 350 Honda when I was 17 in 1972, it was tough and beautiful bike. I always treated it with respect , because if i didn't it would hurt me . I still treat my Harley with respect because I don't want to die. One of the best things in life is having and loving a well made good looking motorcycle.
That's a kick ass 750. Did you convert it to kick start? And how'd you do the seat? Did you chop off a big portion of seat frame to make it flat?! 750's have the hump don't they?
TheHawk213 TheHawk213 some city cycles seat, they have a matching frame hoop. Measure, cut, weld in the new piece. Had to custom make tabs on the frame to bolt the seat on, but very simple.
Beautiful bike. Ever take it on the freeway? And if you do, how is the ride?? Also is it a comfortable bike for trips? Mostly asking because i just bought a 1981 750c and always wanted to know if the power of the bike is trip worthy.
Sounds cool. But you don't have to blip the throttle all the time. Douches do that. And, you know, old bikes will go fast but they don't stop very fast.
My man logged on 7 years ago, dropped this masterpiece, and then dipped.
Probably die :(

@George Lynch Dixon Exactly! I i can't find a Kawi video like this one to save my life. They keep ruining them with music.
Had two of these in my younger years A K2 and a K3. They were a sweet ride in their day. Nice memories....and I survived.

Yeah, maybe back then. But revving a 50 year old bike continuously in the red zone makes me cringe.

@PsychoLogix actually these old cb750 have cam chain tensioner issues that date back to 1970, that's their biggest flaw especially when run hard.

Had a 1975 the same color. your video brought it all back, Thanks!

Im looking at buying a cb 750 and this video is great to hold me over while finding the one
I love the cb 750 all the noises of a fast bike without actually being fast
She looks and sounds absolutely fantastic
I took my CB for granted when I had it.... bought it off a chief on my ship while in the navy for 500 bucks.
Beautiful bike, beautiful place, awesome sound!!
What a lovely bike...real retro superbike 1+

Great to hear an aftermarket exhaust put together properly with no backfiring from shoddy fitment.

The bike sounds beautiful, controls and gauges amazing!

The sound of the 1980's, Stunning Bike bud.
