Excellent presentation. I Hit the subscribe button, because, I know a pro when I see one. I haven't tried grass ops with mine yet. Was really nice to see it operating off of grass in case i ever had to. Not that I could put it down as nice as that , but I think it would survive. My landings are a little more like "hope this works." 😅
GlenGH,pick one up! Handles the grass well for sure. There is a Nose Gear brace on this one thats sold on rcgroups,id pick that up too (only 10 bucks or so)
Great flight followed by a textbook landing 👍🏾 👍🏾👍🏾Thumbs-up for that 👍🏾...Have a great rest of your day! Greetings from Douglas, Arizona 👍🏾🌵🦠😷🇵🇷 Like#45
You're obviously an accomplished RC pilot. 👍 Does look odd to me to see an EDF model that looks like that doing grass Ops. Good to know it can though seeing that there are folks like me that only fly off of grass.
Very nice! What a beautiful site! I did my maiden on a grass field. Another benefit of the Avanti: grass ops! I took a different approach to landing. When I switch Landing Mode on, my radio re-trims the elevator UP, increases idle thrust, and reduces control rates to minimize over controlling near stall speed. Once the plane has slowed down elevator controls speed and throttle controls descent rate. I use half flaps prior to base leg and full flaps on final. Always land on the mains. Once trims are set up correctly, approach and landing are very consistent. You can check out the videos I posted on my channel.

Fantastic flying and video BD, it was great meeting you at Bigfoot, enjoy flying my Avanti S HP in the faster Red 🤩 Salute Jeff in LA USA
Thanks Jeff in LA! Red looks good to but my friend has that one :D
Side note:I didnt go to Bigfoot event, i must have a imposter haha
I like the Avanti very much and also did the front gear mod wich makes it all stronger on the nose wheel.
Avanti is fun for sure! I agree the nose brace helps all around strength
Nice video thanks for posting. I’ve been eyeballing this jet for months now. Looks like a great flyer for grass strips.

Agree its nice scenery. I was at friends flying field. This was first time flying a jet there.
Good info added.
Hey BD, Could you do a video reverse thrust with an Avian Smart ESC?
When it warms up ill try to get one setup
I can hear you changes switch's, can you explain why Thanks
Retracting / extended gears and flaps. Also audio callouts for timer.
👍👍😊
😎😎
elevator mixes are old news, make a flight mode and assign the trim to each, one and done!
Thanks for the info.
