An impromptu wander around a few of the Detectorists filming locations. Many thanks to all who published their research on the locations, none of the locations are my original work, all have been discovered by others before. Here's looking forward to series three!

Love the show. Makes me want to visit. Go to the pub and listen to open mic night and in the morning go detecting. Sad only 3 seasons. I do wish they had more stories of the rest of the cast. Young Hugh, Russell, Varde and who can forget Bishop

Thanks for this. I love the series, genuinely different from most of the other rubbish that masquerades as comedy on TV nowadays. I have never been to Suffolk but the undoubted beauty has persuaded my wife and I to take our holiday there this year.

Someone with money to invest should buy the White Horse Inn - Rename it "The Detectorist" - It would do a roaring trade in fans of the TV show.

Yanto2013 I believe it’s too late. I went for a wander through Fram just after Christmas and it looked like it was being demolished..

In a world of bluster and bullshit, this show is gentle and clever. I'd like to know where the house Andy and Becky bought is located. I'd fly to the UK just to visit that!

'Detectorists' is Crook's mini-masterpiece.
Everything about it is pretty much perfect: the idea; the script; the cast; the locations; the music; the photography ... all make this a gem in a sea of dross.
As others have said, it's so calming. Relaxing. Funny. Clever. You can watch all 19 episodes over and over and still find little details that you'd missed before.
"What, mate? All I got was that you're a homo ... "
So, there's going to be a 75-minute Christmas Special this year and I can't wait to find out what Lance and Andy have done with the 'Magpie Hoard'.
