Everything you need to know here except how to actually use the thing
I’m with GoGo on this one. I’m thinking he’s going to show us the uplink, personal information, registration and how to input data.
Nope
" A caveman invented golf by hitting a rock with a club ..thats why they call it a golf club...this ends the information video"..... next you tube video...
It's a promotional video, not an instruction manual. Once you learn the buttonolgy it's fairly easy to navigate.
I agree, I watched the video to see if it could instruct how to use the watch....it didn't ..I give this video a grade "F".
Yes because the included instructions bears no resemblance to the actual product.
Before I purchase this watch, can you tell me if you can do precise pin locations?
You didn’t mention the “measure shot” feature also on the watch.
The scoring starts at Par for the whole, you can move it up or down to adjust your strokes.
4 simple buttons to use. Up or down on the left, a back or OK on the right.
I really like mine, but I can’t get a round and a half with my battery. Watch only last for weeks. Golf mode, it might make 27 holes but didn’t finish when I played 18, then 9 2 days later. It stopped on the 7th hole.
Otherwise everything I was looking for easy peasy.
I want your shirt too. Love it
Please tell me how a left-handed golfer hit a right-handed club off the tee?
hey i got an idea ..teach how to set it up....!
So this helps me hit better, cool. I looked at video to see on course review....
tengo necesidad de saltear hoyos es decir estoy jugando el hoyo 9 y paso al 17 y no se como se hace para que el reloj pase al nuevo hoyo
Difference between s12 and s10?
Does it measure your previous shot distance? I.e.your drive distance when you walk up to your 2nd shot?
Thank you for your question. Yes, you can measure your shot manually with the Approach S10. The following link walks you through it. I hope this helps. www8.garmin.com/manuals/webhelp/approachs10/EN-US/GUID-DDB83697-5B75-47C1-9B6E-9FC125597D07.html
Yes it does.
lacking in specifics. which button does what, etc.
I was hoping to find out
Specific info on how the watch works. The quick start manual is a joke
Very disappointed
Why can’t you do a video on how to actually use it and how to return to a previous hole because it jumped ahead.
i find mine does not change to next hole i have to hit ok button each hole
Thank you for your comment. All of the Garmin golf capable devices have automatic transitions to the upcoming hole when brought near the hole's far back tee box. There may be times that you need to manually transition, but if you are finding that your S10 never automatically transitions between holes, please reach out to your Product Support Team at 800-800-1020 or support.garmin.com. They will be happy to assist.
Setting the time?
Thank you for your question. The following link shows the time settings information for the Approach S10. www8.garmin.com/manuals/webhelp/approachs10/EN-US/GUID-A6A0A5FE-A8C6-40AE-9EF6-BC89D94DB42F.html#:~:text=From%20the%20main%20menu%2C%20select%20Settings%20%3E%20Time.&text=Sets%20the%20device%20to%20show,or%20a%2024%2Dhour%20format.&text=Sets%20the%20time%20manually%20or%20automatically%20based%20on%20your%20GPS%20location.
How do you see your saved rounds?
Thank you for your question. You would upload your scorecard to Garmin Connect using the Garmin Express application.
1. Connect the device to your computer using a USB cable.
2. Go to www.garmin.com/express.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
I hope this helps!
How do you know if only in watch mode? Charged mine up fully and battery drained in 1 day
Thank you for your question. Please reach out to out Product Support team at 800-800-1020 or support.garmin.com. They will be happy to assist and troubleshoot to make sure you have the watch settings adjusted accordingly.
I got one that did that, I exchanged it and have a good battery now.
How do you change the language to English
Thank you for your question. The following link has the instructions for changing the language on your Approach S10. I hope it helps!

This is an ad, not a training video.
Video is worthless to learn how to use the S10. Why sell me when I have already bought the watch. How do you get around in the Garmin?
Is it possible to see my prior game score ?
Thank you for your question. Yes, you can sync the Approach S10 to the Garmin Golf App to store and view your scorecards. Below are two links. The first is to our Support page that is full of how-to's to help you optimize your S10 use. The second link is for our video on how to view scorecards on the Garmin Golf App. I hope this helps.

@@GarminRetailTraining no computer to do this :(
@@louiseprevost3066 How about a smartphone? You can also use the Garmin Connect App on a compatible smartphone.
@@GarminRetailTraining i do have a iphone but the garmin s10 is not on the list ??
no bluetooth on s10
I'm willing to give garmin another shot after making such a horrible product in the S1 where the irreplaceable strap literally started breaking apart by itself like a leper. However, this watch is lacking one huge feature. It does not measure your shot distance. I will buy it when they don't stop being stingy and include it. Or i'll buy another comparable brand that does include it.
Thank you for your feedback. The Approach S10 manually measures shot distance. The following link has the instructions on measuring a shot. www8.garmin.com/manuals/webhelp/approachs10/EN-US/GUID-DDB83697-5B75-47C1-9B6E-9FC125597D07.html
How to use the Garmin???
It’s a marketing video
How to see my distance
Thank you for your question. If you are referring to the distance that you hit the ball, follow these instructions......While playing, press and hold "OK". The "Measuring Shot" screen will appear. Then, walk to the ball to see the distance that you hit the ball. You can then select "DOWN" to reset the measurement. I hope this helps.
@@GarminRetailTraining i will try today .
thank you soooo much !
hey Garmin, I am a luxury tech blogger, currently doing a comparison of S70 and S62.
So stupid. How does it work? I move time zones and nothing tells me how to reset the time . I would think the satellite would update but NO
Thank you for your comment. The time does not update automatically if it is set to "manual". From the main menu, select "Settings > Time". Under "Set Time", select "Automatically". It should then update the time based on your GPS location when you start a round of golf. If the time settings are correct and it still isn't updating, please reach out to our Product Support team at 800-800-1020 or support.garmin.com. They will be happy to troubleshoot and assist with the issue.
"Golf was invented by a caveman...he hit a rock with a club...thats why they call them "clubs"...thanks for watching this video "...see another you tube video if you want to know how to use your new watch...Thank You
This thing is a piece of you know what. Can’t set it up!!!!
Excellent advertisement. Not much more. Waste of time.
Terrible video and I
Hate the S10 Approach. I was hoping to see actually how to use this product. Very difficult to use and get my fingers on the buttons. The earlier version with the tap screen was much better. I still can’t figure out how to move forward a hole or backward a hole. Wish I hadn’t purchased😢😢
Thank you for your comments. Garmin golf watches will automatically transition to the upcoming hole when brought near the hole's far back tee box. Transition can also be done manually. Below is a link to the instructions. I hope this helps.

Worthless info-mercial
This is a commercial not instructive. Waste of time
