In the last minutes of a Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, I realized there was a Brian video to watch... 11 minutes later I feel much better. Loved the first seconds of burro noses! Thank you, Brian. ✌🏼
Brian when I heard that you were one of the hosts, I knew you'd have a happy group and a lot of fun. So glad to find out that I was right. What a nice thing to do for people.
I remember binge-watching ALL of ur vids a year ago at least. i just went back to ur 1st vid 4yrs ago (Dec 25, 2014). It's SO positive to see how many other subscribers have commented there of doing the same thing. I look at other vandwelling/RVlife channels. They just don't have the same sincerity that i sense in you. But anyway, most of those channels are less than 1-2 years old. We've been blessed with a 4-year window into the life of someone who is like us. All good things must come to an end. I hope u continue sharing ur life with us. But, even TV series come to an end. THANK YOU, Brian, for the hope u've given many of us. (I'll be at RTR 2019 in January--my first. I'll be hoping to spot you and give u a hug). 17 more months for my wife and I. THANK YOU for what you've done.
When I was young (high school and college) I had a Honda Super Hawk 350cc "motor cycle" and traveled from Pacific Beach in San Diego to the Anza Borrego desert frequently. That would be in the early 1960's. I would spend 2 - 5 days there before returning. To me it was a magical place. I would travel up some dry wash 5 or 10 miles and "camp out" - nothing but a bed roll and some food. I remember sitting quietly and watch the animals appear. They would ignore me as long as I didn't move suddenly. It was a lot (LOT) better than drugs and likely saved my life. Several friends did not make it.
How cool .... wind energy! The nomad life is so insipring. First, I learned about solar lights, then solar cooking, now i see it is possible to use wind to make energy. And how cute, the burros want to be on UA-cam.😎
Visit from wild burros how awesome is that Shoe fence / too funny....Lovely park to camp nearby / how nice is that Keep having fun Looking forward to your next video
I was really looking forward to joining your caravan until I found out my grandson will be visiting us. Now I’ll be hard pressed to get to the RTR on the 9th. See you there
Good to see the caravan again. Been wondering about it. It would be great if someone were willing to share their first experiences and thoughts on this event. It sounds like a great way to get your feet wet when considering this lifestyle and being possibly more prepared than without this knowledge. This seems far less daunting to those who may be hesitating because of fear of going it alone. Thanks for sharing! I'm sure Bob will do some kind of wrap up video as well. Can't wait to join! God bless you all.
It's so great to see you again, Brian! What a fun adventure and new experience for you...and those traveling with you. That was a pretty awesome rescue mission too! Gotta love community! Be well!
Love the music always! Great living out in the wide-open spaces. Love the desert. Miles From Nowhere. One time about 35 years ago I wandered down to Borrego Springs. The quiet was tangible. Hope to join in again sometime. Thanks for the great footage.
I'm so glad that you're glad you volunteered for being host. It seems like you were in need of some quality stay-put down-time. Hopefully this experience will really recharge your batteries. I'm super glad it's helpful for people. I can see how it would be scary to start and this experience would be a great way to ease into it. Happy you are making friends and connections. Glad to see a vanman video today. Made my day.
Happy to hear you've had Downtime amidst the responsibilities! Looks like a great time, serene and somewhat surreal - as in a pleasant & dream-like... As Always, Love the tunes & vistas. Take Care Bri, Darcy AKA MommaMariposa (((~!~)))
Great video Brian..enjoyed the scenery..gonna have to check out that area. I was hiking here just off I40 inside Arizona..Needle Mt Rd area..saw some wild burros bout a mile from camp..very cool !
Those are the Santa Rosa mountains north of your Anza Borrego camp. I used to hike up there in the 60's. It's beautiful and wild country. I wish I were with you, but don't own a motor vehicle.
My wife and I spent a bunch of time in the Anza Borrego area camping with our dirt bikes. It is a nice area in November. Your friends electric dirt bike is sick! Please show it off a little more.
Man I wish I wasn't stuck going to all these medical appointments in San Diego! I was planning on meeting up with this caravan in Anza Borrego!!! I'm planning on meeting up with you all on NYE and then heading to the RTR with you all...
So nice to see you and get an update on your adventures, Brian!☺ It would be interesting to know the origins of the extensive shoe fence; perhaps someone's ludicrous, experimental attempt at 'a border wall'!? 😉😁...sorry..just HAD to say it.😆
Been waiting for a video.Great mountains! Nice asses! You were the perfect guy for the task! Have a great Christmas. See you somewhere out there next year!
Hi BRIAN!!!! thank you sooo much for posting this beautiful video, man i needed to watch and see the beauty and wonder so badly. life has been distracting lately and you just drop in and bring it all back to what is really important... loving life itself and what ive got to be grateful for. thanks again. much peas and luvv bro!!!!
In you guys spare time you need to plant some grass and trees out there , nothing but dirt and Scorpions ...watch-out...Lol good to know your still around .
So glad to get your update on the caravan. Did I see a fiberglass camper in your group? I love my Casita! Also love that you show the plants close up, of course the burrows and the coot diving.
In the beginning is a good example of why tires matter. Those tires looked pretty worn, no matter he couldnt get traction even with all that weight on it. People, tires are one of the most important features on your rig. They are what make you get good MPG (for your engine). They keep you on the road when the road tries to throw you off. They keep you going down the trail when the trail wants to get you stuck. They help you stop in time to not plow through that kid that ran across the road chasing a ball. People. Dont skimp on tires. Its a very needed expense. They last like 30K+ miles. Its worth it to get good tires once in a while.
Good to see all of you enjoying time & space. Looks like the caravans are a success!! Unfortunately, we were delayed....first time in 3 yrs FT we had to get repairs that actually put us out of our RV. Hopefully we'll catch up with you at RTR. Merry Christmas Brian!
Two thumbs up….Wishing you a Very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year…Great Vedios……Looking forward to more travels in 2019….Cheers From Canada.
Brian...talk to Nate of Element and ask him why you should go to Mardi Gras this year---because you will love it! You can bookdock at my house near the MS River. rob
Thanks Brian looks like a lovely spot! I liked the blue rig you showed near the beginning. Looks like ours. Would love to know more about them if the have a channel? Or have been interviewed? Thanks!

The feeling of getting stuck but the feeling of being pulled out makes life so great!
While I’m not personally benefiting from your service to the caravans, I thank you for facilitating. It’s a nice way of getting people together.
Brian when I heard that you were one of the hosts, I knew you'd have a happy group and a lot of fun. So glad to find out that I was right. What a nice thing to do for people.
God Love You Brian and that smile on your face just warms my heart. Excellent video. Thanks!

Very impressed by how little of an imprint you made kudos to you all!!!
Satisfying video Brian. Good for you stretching yourself beyond your comfort zone and using your gifts to benefit others 😎
Thanks for taking us along.
As much as I miss your videos, I appreciate not filming people in your camp, not everyone wants to be on UA-cam. You're the Man!
Really enjoying my time in Anza Borrego and the easy going leadership style.

No work at x-mas tree store in san diego this year? What the flock? Love your videos Brian! I have been following you for 3 years from Michigan.
fabulous fabulous Mountain views on the wild donkeys? I don't think that they're very wild. I guess they're very comfortable with human being
Nice video Brian , thanks for sharing.
