Another Suggestion…wait until you have made both the accordion folder and the refill holder before gluing them to the folio jacket. That way, you will have the option of deciding how/where to place the refill holder.
One of the many reasons I love your channel is that, if you make an oops, you just roll with it & make it work anyway! It would be so easy to just re-do it and make it right & edit it in as if nothing happened. Instead you use it as an opportunity to show new crafters it's ok to make a mistake, you just have to work around it. Great save! Here's an🍎for the best paper craft teacher! 😀
As a new paper crafter, I definitely agree! It’s really reassuring for me to know if I mess up it doesn’t mean start over or quit & give myself grace!! ❤️ I almost forgot to leave my 🍎’s (seal of approval)!😂 1 for Mrs. Sherry 🍎 & 1 for this comment 🍎! Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
I actually think for a right-handed person the "mistake" version is better because you can more easily slide the notepad in and out. Love both versions though, they're beautiful!
I have made 2 of these so far and I just love them! Used some Dollar Tree contact paper for one and it turned out so cute! Great idea for Christmas gifts for my small group at Church. ❤
Thank you Sherry. Love the accordion folder, love the papers and love how you recovered from the small mistake,( we are all human) but the best part is how you quickly made a small adjustment and saved the project. I loved the quick fix.😊
@joyceboston2933, I feel the same way. It's nice to see how,Mrs Sherry does quick fixes without being rattled 🎉That was the best. Thank U Mrs. Sherry 🎉
I Watch and rewatch your videos Sherry. Because of that I now understand the process on so many things. Paper purses are next in my list to understand. I am enjoying those Current beautiful file folders and ways to use them also so gift bags are also on my list. I’ve been making boxes and organizers. I bought some of those small candles at Dollar Tree and made a box specially for them. Each box holds one candle and some crinkle shreds and look so pretty. Then they will be placed inside a gift bag I made along with a pair of those comfy socks also from DT. Saying thank you just isn’t enough Sherry. You have given this old lady a way to be creative. I had to quit crocheting because of my arthritis. It slows me down for everything but these items are not as involved and don’t take as many hours to make as crocheting does and I was a tester for three designers so much was involved. I’d love to do it again but… lol As a retired lady I need something to do that is fun and this is perfect. I cannot sit and watch TV. My hands and my brain have to be working. I love that you show and teach us processes and then we can just go with it and make our own. I know I may sound silly but when you are losing the ability to do things and you have always been extremely active and constantly busy finding a new passion is wonderful. And of course I have returned to a former love of making cards. Now I make the boxes for them. Thank you so much. The little amount I send every month as a member is only a token compared to my gratitude.
Yet another awesome idea from the 'very Posh Paper Lady' - love your ideas have been recommending your channel to Crafty Friends. It would be rude not to!!! xx
Love the project, would be great for Christmas shopping. Decorated in Christmas paper. Also the love the 5 in 1 tool already ordered, I am terrible cutting the corners either too big or too small. Thank you for this great tip have a blessed day
Hi Sherry, I hope your day is going well too. I think this folio is very pretty, besides functional. Love the pocket. You just keep us up to date on the best tips, techniques, and any issues that arise how to handle. I just love it. You enjoy the rest of your day …. And Happy Crafting! ☕️🌻Jennifer
Sherry you did it again. I love your notepads. Lately all I do is make your notepads. You are a genius. I can't stop making them. Thank you for sharing.
You have totally inspired me Sherry - I have made a Harry Potter folio, notepad created on Canva using papers purchased from Etsy and added one of your accordion folders that I made to fit the inside. Thank you x
Hello queen. I love the totes you make but I have not found the one tutorial with the big hole at the top of the placemat totes. Wine totes. What do you use to punch that hole out. Thanks.

Great idea, Sherry! I love how you turn a ‘mistake’ into an opportunity for a decorative accent on the outside and an extra pocket on the inside❤

Sherry, you always do an amazing job at co-ordinating your paper. Thank you for the time you take in sharing your talent.

🤔 could you not have just flipped the notebook over. Pocket on the left, envelope on the right ???
Perhaps you missed the message I pinned.
