That's true. I am going through second breakup with same person. First time when we got back together after couple of months. I have stopped watching these videos or commenting on anything. That's why it's so less success stories out there. But not sure how second time no contact will work out for me.

She reached out after around 9 months and we both talked about how we both grew and we admitted our mistakes and came to the conclusion that we still have feelings and that our behaviour was pretty stupid, but now comes the difficult part. She lives in colombia and I in switzerland and we're both still too young to move together so ... rip me :) Long distance really is the definition of "bitter sweet".

Success stories are encouraging not discouraging! The internet is full of garbage public websites where random anonymous people constantly tell anyone who searched getting them back isn't possible, rarely happens, or will say stop waiting around and try to talk them, or berate them for asking what their ex might be thinking about ... While I assume they're all well meaning ... I'm sure you know how useless the general "just move on, that person's no good" advice is
Yes, and reading the comment section is the worst thing if you're looking for success stories. Usually it's the people for who it didn't work out or they didn't want their ex back who comment on these videos, as they have to let out the emotions somewhere.
The people who actually get back with their ex won't spend more time on a break up channel, as they are happily living their life with their ex again.

No Contact, as exhaustively described on this channel, and DatingGuys, is not being a doormat!
It is primarily a vehicle for healing and evolving the self, using the breakup for motivation for these things.
Through this process, a therapist isnt needed, it is therapy itself.
NC also happens to be, so far known, the best method in most cases to get an ex to reconsider the breakup.
Each person has the right to hope that an ex might reconsider, and the right to not reconsider if the ex does infact want to get back together.
I think if someone follows the advice given on this channel, they are ultimately helping themselves, through the sheer pain, but also towards a future with less pain and ultimately happiness in life again.

yes I was overly dependent on him. I was going thru a lot of stressful life events so slowly I became someone I didnt want to be and I realize that now. He was cheating so thats affected me greatly and he filled the void with another woman. I'm working on myself to not make this mistake again.
A weird thing happened. The other morning at work, my ex texted AND emailed me many pictures from our time together. Out of the blue. She's in a rebound relationship. She messaged these words "memories in pictures". I didn't answer, didn't acknowledge. Don't want to fall for the false hope trap. Not sure what it meant.
The Ladders Of Life you should have replied, when a woman is thinking about you you need to respond to her indirect advances. She’s reached out to you and you should have said “it’s great to hear from you, I’d love to see you, when are you free?” And either set a definite date with her at a time and place or tell her if she’s not available to let you know if she changes her mind. And get off the phone, the phone is for setting dates when they reach out and nothing more.

He broke up with me in the middle of March I went through no contact for a month now it's May be called me for my birthday the first week of the month and called again last Thursday I couldn't believe it but he did. The first time he called to say that "He's sorry that things got messy and he misses me." The second round he didn't leave a message. What should I do cause our relationship broke up cause he felt our long distance wasn't easy for him we just started that last year after we graduated from college. We spent 4 years together and I thought we had it together we even spoke about marriage and a future. He told me he was thinking of breaking up for a while but proceeded to fool me into things things were fine I wasn't aware that there was a serious problem other than he stopped having the serious relationship talks how to work out our issues. He was dead silent most of the time before the break up. I kept asking what was wrong. I knew long distance was going to be hard but all the other reasons he brought up were things that could of been worked out together. I spend so much money to visit him after my island got hit by both Hurricane Irma and Maria. Shit got real last year then after that the night before Thanksgiving he got into a major car accident on the highway that nearly killed him, literally! The impact was on his side of the vehicle it split a power pole in the process. You know how I found out about it. He didn't call me he posted it on his Instagram. Since the island was damaged I didn't have WiFi at home I had to go out to find a wifi hotspot to make calls and do anything. I was so happy to see him in March but now it's a bad memory. I felt used through the whole process and lied too. Later on I learned that he sucked counseling from a now ex girlfriend of mine and his cousin WHO are not successful in relationships. I lost friends and my pride during the process he expected me to be OK with being broken up with her wanted to friend zone me and treat it like we were never in a relationship. He just turned 180 into cold blooded relationship killer. I realized Joel ingrained in my life he was during his absence and began wiping him out of it. Please make videos on long distant relationship cause its hard to forgive and speak to someone who hurt you when their not there in person.
I feel like cos I was in long distance before, I retain my individuality and I felt better faster. Though it’s always normal that some thoughts haunt me occasionally still

I just didn’t respond, worked for me. He kept on coming up with different excuses to reach out and see if I would take the bait. If he really wants you back, he will keep chasing/reaching out occasionally. If he doesn’t do that, he isn’t the one.
BUT if you do say a thank you, end it at that. If he ask to go out, you say you have other plans. Then silence. Make them wonder.

If you are a girl, and he left you because he said he has no more feelings and moved on with another girl. We were together for a year and living together few months. Everything happened so fast, but before that we had amazing relationship, full of emotions and fun times. So my situation. My ex reached out 2 weeks ago and I did great we met up for lunch had a great time and kissed. @@XVNRX well, dinner went great. No talk of relationship until the end, she brought it up. Called me on the way home to tell me a funny story she forgot at dinner. Sent me a text after I went to sleep telling me what a great guy I am. The next day I asked her is she wanted to hang out again. She said we probably shouldnt....oh well, back to no contact and moving on.

She started re following me on IG and then started liking my posts and then liked a really old pic but I didn't react so finally a couple days later she messaged me and said she wanted me to follow her again so to request and she would accept it. I told her I only wanted contact with her if it was romantic, I asked if she wanted to hangout and said she couldn't. I was wondering why she went out of her way to get me back into her life she is in a relationship but won't hangout. “Conclude the night with sex”… Why would you need to conclude it with sex when you don’t know if they’ve been with several people while you’re apart?
Why in the world would you end the night with sex? Don’t you want your ex to chase you, prove to you that their intentions are true? And what if that is your exes intent? For sex? There is a lot of great actors out there! I’d rather have my ex earn the relationship back. Trust too. And have peace of mind that their intent is to actually want to be with me for me and not sleep with me! I refuse to be used. A booty call or FWB. I’d regret sleeping with them after the first date. And yes. Maybe it would work out. But again, If they want me for me and to rekindle the relationship, then they will wait for the sex!

Caleb Dowling UA-cam know i did something like this to an ex i had about 6 months i broke whit her after i had an other relation. In my case i had some confusion if i did the right thing. I reach out and try yo figure out if i had feelings for my ex and i did but figure out i did not wanted to go back. I gosthed my ex and continued with my new relation.
Caleb Dowling just relax, don't worry too much about how long between her calling or texting you is ... She's already shown that she will do it .. so she's almost certainly going to again at some point ...
