What I found fascinating is the advancements in computer graphics, from simple colour maps with the united kingdom in green, and the sea in blue, and the static weather symbols to video simulations of how the weather is expected to pan out In 1985, they could show how the weather was expected to move across the country in 3-6 hour time windows, but so much more detailed these days
What he said was apparently a woman phoned the studio earlier and said she'd heard that there was a hurricane on the way, if you're watching don't worry there isn't. He never mentioned anything about Florida during that forecast.

@Fisher Zakai Flixportal :D
@Keaton Nixon Thank you, I went there and it seems like a nice service :D I really appreciate it !
@Fisher Zakai glad I could help xD

Two very interesting and well mannered gentlemen.
Like Simon and Garfunkel, "I get all the news i need from the weather forecast"
Not convinced that Mr Fish will still be around in another 30 years Mr Deakin lol
Adam Knight well he’s 74 and many people can live up to 100 and more so he could be alive in the next 30yrs
This Video is really interesting

As Michael Fish mentions in this Video there was no phone call from a lady from Wales(that isn't true)

on a sidenote the name Michael was retired in the US after the devastating Hurricane by the same name in 2018.
It is unlikely Micheal Fish will become back in another 30 years time to talk about the Great Storm he would be over 100 if he was still alive
Become back ??
