I've been meaning to post this for a while, but dang Micheal is such a likeable guy! Really glad he is on the show!
The perfect employee I’ll say
Happy I could get it fixed for you! Sorry it took so long but there was a learning curve for sure
you did an amazing job mate
@@AUBOYT thank you I appreciate that! I have some videos of the repair I’ve put on TikTok I’ll try to put them here too
Good job repairing it, my guy
@@rogerpena7796 thank you I appreciate it!
Panasonic Q is a holy grail in any collection for sure. Glad you've managed to make it work. 😊😊😊
You guys should have tournaments, smash Bros/Street Fighter/Marvel versus Capcom
Not only will it bring people to the store, but it would bring back nostalgia. get some Gamepoint T-shirts for the event. Just a thought.
A smash Bros tournament in any fashion without nintendo approval is how you get sued into poverty. Research it.
Brilliant idea 🎉
Would be so cool
Unfortunately, NINTENDO is brutal with this stuff. They would shut it down immediately, even with games that are “retro”. They literally want full control of all past and present IPs and how they are monetized. Same reason Nintendo still goes after RoM sites for 30 year old games lol
@@GhostsofDenkuthere’s an arcade about an hour south of Rick’s shop that does smash bros and Mario kart tourneys every weekend.
Thankfully the value dropped on the Panasonic Q here in the UK. I’ll add one to my collection soon. 😊
You and Michael both had good snack choices and the two foot cords would make me want to sit on the floor in front of the tv like i did as a kid
Thanks for stopping by our booth! We will see you in Clevland for the Clevland Classic!
Michael has the purest energy, seems like the nicest guy ever and I'm here for it
Pepperoni Pizza Combos and Diet Dr Pepper. They were my late wife’s road trip snack of choice and by default, mine 😁
So glad you got your channel back. It’s content like this that I love. Never knew about it the Panasonic Cube!
5:55 hey that's our kid lol...Cali & Allen told us about their visit to your store...fun!
I know someone that found a Panasonic Q at a Goodwill... and PASSED on it cause he thought it was a karaoke machine! smh
How a Panasonic Q ends up at a Goodwill is beyond me.. absolutely insane
I am with Rick. The honey bbq twists but a glacial white Gatorade
Love the videos man keep at it
Awesome new collection piece
Actually working! Wow, your repair guy is a saint!
Im so jealous! thats a beautiful Gamecube console
Travel Food... Beef Jerky, Doritos, Water. Awesome meeting you at MGC in Milwaukee. I really enjoy watching all the Hunting videos. I just run the playlist and then at the end, start it over. lol
I’ve been following since late 2020 and I have to say I’m starting to like this channel more than the main.
Well that's the first time I see one in action. Good video bro
For road trips I make a ranch mcflurry with ranch dressing, cream, ranch corn nuts, and cool ranch chips all blended up. Tastes good but don't look directly at it.
Xenoblade chronicles x has been one of my favorite RPGs in the last 10 years. Best game on the Wii U IMO, and it's one of the few games that hasn't been ported to the switch.
BEST EVER!!!!!!!
Nerds Clusters Absolute 🔥
Saw you at Midwest Gaming Classic a few times lugging around a full plastic tote. Wanted to say hi, but you looked busy haha
OMG the Panasonic GameCube is so beautiful! I don’t collect outside U.S. region consoles but that is one I would definitely get if I had the opportunity. I’ve wanted it for years now!
If that cord is two foot then are you three feet tall?
The guy holding the cord would be under 4ft if that length of cable was truly 2ft😂
I remember getting my first Panasonic gamecube when I visited Japan. At the time I had no idea what it was and it looked very interesting. 20+ years later, I still have it and it is fully functional.
The Panasonic Gamecube system is so sweet!
Hope you have a good time in Milwaukee, I grew up up there.
Hope yall make it back in time for the eclipse. Your in the perfect spot for it.
The Fritos barbecue twist in Mountain Dew Baja
BACK AT IT!
My son and I are hoping to meet you on the convention floor tomorrow.
Dr. Pepper and chili cheese Fritos are my roadtrip snack of choice. Also, that Panasonic Q is soooo pretty.
Travel snack is Beef Jerky can't go anywhere without it.
Hope to run into you on Saturday!
Every year we go to MGC, our traveling food is gas station coffee and cigarettes ...but it's only a 3 hour drive from IL
Store open Monday? Will there be a day walker sale?
in Japan they used to have the console next to the players and hook up a long cord to the tv. and when they were done they would just pack it away
That thing is cool.
That Panasonic Qube is dope
I gave a like for the pokemon vhs brief case part, shit made laugh so hard.
always wanted one since I saw it in a magazine as a kid. told myself I will find one in Japan when I go and bring it back.
I can't believe I actually saw a Panasonic Q that was legit & working, it feels like a fever dream
Good afternoon Rick ! Sorry off topic here , but I been trying to solve an issue with my super gameboy I can’t get to work the sound on it , works great and even the sounds from the menu , but will not give me the sound from the actual games 😢 you happen to know what could it be ? Thank you sir ! And keep up the good work 🎉
GameCube is amazing. Collecting those games is a real challenge.
Everybody had n64, nobody had GameCube.
I did just not a lot of games but I do have the skies of Arcadia complete bought it for next to nothing a long time ago. 😊
The original Famicom had short cords as well. Not only that but they were permanently attached to the console.
great video
My gamecube also played "dvds". Backup dvds.
The regular one doesn’t play them. Just the Panasonic Q.
@@mariokart8715 Mine was hacked and the dvds were backups. I removed the mini dvd tray and put a normal one. That part was sold with the chip hack.
@@mariokart8715 I couldnt read dvd movies but Im sure there´s a way to do it. But I only hacked it to play games.
What’s the latest with the Arkansas retro con?
I bet Chase would be interested in that VHS briefcase and those coins.
Pepperoni Pizza Combos is a clean snack.
When I used to go to conventions i'd often drive for 12-15+ hours and snack of choice was always Beef Jerky and Monster Energy! 😛
Yes yes yes the bbq twist is the best but you must have the bean dip with it
I have one and it works great. My region unlock button is way cleaner,
It’s built into the power button .
Twizzlers is our family go to travel snack, we cut dyes out for the kids so no longer 😢. Oh and Code Red Mt. Dew is my jam.
I had the entire 1st season on vhs, i would always go to Ames department store back in the late 90s every week after work before heading home and look to see if the latest 3 episode cassette was out and buy it and it was the only season that was vhs
I'm going to the Gaming Classic tomorrow see y'all there!!! Coke zero sugar for sure...snack if I go healthy almonds else Doritos cool ranch!
Retro rick my travel snack is the same as yours 😂
Hey Rick… when are you going to Japan?
Can't imagine working in a gamestore, and hear the snes super mario world OST all day 😂, i'd go mental.
and the way he held the cord and said, that's probably a 2 foot cord.. the imperial system is not making any sense at all.
If yoy think the remote or the controller are expensive, the special ganevoy player made fir ut goes for about a $1000+
I was jamming out to the final fantasy music.
cool!
I have two of those Pokemon VHS cases from my childhood.
Can you go into more detail why the Panasonic cube breaks so easily?
The cord on the Super Famicom controller is 3 feet long. But you can swap the wire from an SNES controller. So, if you have some SNES controllers that you deem to be defective or close to it, have your repair guy just swap out the wires. It takes less than 3 minutes. Literally. I know this because I refurbish SNES controllers and I have had to purchase SF controllers on the cheap and swap out the wires with those from SNES controllers so I can flip them
For me it’s a dark filter coffee. I feel simple now 😂
My go to road trip snack is beef jerky
A bag of pizza flavored Combos, 2 Jack's links beef Jerry. And a nice ice cold 1 liter of Dr.Pepper!!!
Bits looks like Curtis from pixel game squad
You guys have to try Tostitos salsa verde chips
Travel Snacks for me are Sunflower Seeds. Beef Jerky, Sour Worms, and a Large Coke Zero.
Ok have to say. I’ve never seen one of those vhs Pokémon cases before. But as soon as I saw the plastic I knew vhs!
Definitely hasn't used a tape measure. That controller cord is longer than 2ft
I've got a console DVD player (PS5) but I got to admit the Panasonic Q is a bit cooler
I have 3 of these Panasonic Q's and all broken just like yours, the cd tray doesnt pop out. And I cant find anyone to fix it lol. Everyone says "no thanks"
I think you guys at the shop NEED to film a super smash competition. Winner takes something dumb like harry potter jelly beans BUT they get bragging rights for the whole month. Switch it up from N64 to GameCube to the Switch - who is master?? I'd watch those videos!
"Not even houses."
Proceeds to name something much bigger than a house.
"Apartment complexes."
Pizza flavored Combos!!
Mr pibb with 4 or 5 shots of cherry and a bold chex mix bag
@metaljesusrocks collects those Xbox 360 faceplates
I've always been shy towards a q. They break, it needs modding and to be honest I'd be scared to play it. I've been offered working units for 1000 each as late as last year in the box.
Best Traveling Food? We put together our family's "Tub o" Grub" which contains combinations of ChexMex, M&M's (various), CornNuts, Trek Mix, Honey Mixed Nuts, Salted Nuts in a ziplock bag.
Better be that "Blue Cherry" Gatorade.. You already know..
Road snack is Andy capps fries. Only have it while in the car
Burger flavoured sunflower seeds?! Oh America, just stop it 😱😅
I saw it!
can you do a video where you show the tmnt figures in your store
Do you still have the Xbox 360 Street fighter skin? I had it for mine but lost my console when someone came in our apartment and stole it .
Trail mix with extra M&M’s and Sprite.
I have my childhood copy of Mike Tyson punch out that’s 5 screw
Japan also uses NTSC, not related to the discs but the resolution and framerate supported.. EU = PAL, USA/JPN = NTSC.
Hot funnyuns & a 32oz redbull always hits the spot for me 😎 on the road while I wait to get to my destination
Go-to road snacks:
Fritos or Bugles
Payday
Yoo Hoo
If I'm near a Stuckey's, I'll have a pecan log.
Mike and ikes sounds not too good to eat on a road trip LOL!
Gibraltar (espresso with milk) and bagel! Better butter it up as well!
Cheez-Its and wild cherry Pepsi
Beef jerky baby, even though it’s so dam expensive.
sour patch kids, bbq chips and coke unless if I want to drink some sweet tea.
