I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.

I've had one these for 4 years and just bought a second. Battery life has diminished slightly but it still works great. It's also water proof and it floats! I love these things. Can't wait to pair them together with party mode

Been using mine for well over 2 years. I messed up the battery by using my phone charger lol. But i leave it wired and it still works great. Getting new batteries changed this week. I beat up this bad boy rough and after 2 years its still going strong. Highly recommended :)

I’ve had this speaker for a bit over 2 years after my previous landlord stole my other one (looked like the same as the blue one). I love it! I don’t use it often off of the charger as it is generally plugged in bedside and is on 24/7. I love it so much! I am planning on buying the JBL boombox 2 soon
I do still have this speaker which I love! I use it several times a week. It’s not my every day speaker anymore, I have the JBL Boombox now which is my every day speaker but I’d say that one is definitely not necessary. I bought that one because I really only listen to music I don’t watch tv much, so sometimes I really like to blast the music. The JBL I keep in my office so I use it whenever I’m in there a few times a week. I only stick to JBL speakers and I want to get another JBL charge for my living room.
I still have mine after 3 years. No issues, audio quality is still sounds like brand new ❤️ though i bought the silver so It has a yellowish color now 😂

I have been using a tiny $10 insignia bt speaker for over 4 years replaced the battery wile ago loved it can't imagine not having it around till either speaker lost sound quality or drivers components are failing sounds like an old gameboy so thought it would be best to invest in a better speaker. So many options on Amazon most with bad reviews or short comings glad to find JBL reviews online are all good and Excited to hear even better reviews thankyou👍
I am shocked because this speaker is a 2016 model, and it held very strongly till now. It is still one of the best. Of course this speaker got a lot of updates over the years for better SQ, it even got the connect+ update. It is worth it
I have this speaker and I must say I'm very satisfied. the sound is great and the battery is great. the price is pretty good for such a good product. I think those features are the most important: sound, battery and price and the JBL charge 3 is great in all 3 categories
The Flip series is also made to lay on it's side...it also has passive radiators on both ends. It doesn't depend on a foot though. It simply has one side that's weighted so it rolls to the proper orientation on a flat surface (the JBL logo right-side-up and facing you). I've heard the Chinese "T&G" knock-offs of this speaker are horrible. They look the same but the similarity ends there.
Yes once you update the firmware. However once you do this you cannot go back so you will be unable to pair to regular JBL connect speakers only connect +

This is my third bluetooth speaker and the best so far, actually waterproof (IPX7) and the sound is great. Great bass, decent highs, and most importantly, easy buttons and pairing. My previous speakers, Oontz Angle 3 Ultra (definitely not waterproof), Braven Balance (buttons way too stiff, ok sound). Great for the money.
I've 20 yr old JBL 12s in my trunk. They still pound. I've swapped them out periodically with other 12s. Some other subs have a cleaner richer sound but nothing hits quite like my 1990s jbl's 😍
I don’t really know how to tell you this but, I use my JBL Charge 3 speaker everyday for at least 6 hours A DAY And I haven’t charged it in 4 years I don’t know how the hell it’s still running
The only thing i would of added with the battery life is if you use the headphone jack to play music through the battery lasts longer since youre not using the bluetooth.

Just copped one for 50 bucks at Walmart in Baltimore 😁 I'm mad pumped lol . The charge 4 is amazing and extreme is what I really wanted! But I couldn't pass up 50$ for a charge 3 !
They do seem to have a problem with the inbuilt female mini usb, mine has totally diminished and I have seen others with the same issue, now I am trying to find out who does repairs on the JBL.

Great video, you just gained a new subscriber. I went out and picked one up and love it. I just bought the photive m90 for $50 and got to say it's solid for what it is. The bass is insane. Overall though I believe the JBL sounds better as a whole. I'm keeping both lol but JBL wins for sure.
I got a flip 2 about 2 years ago for $60 when the flip4 was newer and double.. The flip bumpa man.. I have a stereo head unit and some like 3ft tall speakers in my living room which are loud.. Anyways my gf and i got a new tv and she mentioned a soundbar which i didnt know much bout.. We got a JBL soundbar and no lies is louder,crisper and more bass than a full on old school stereo unit with 2 full size 3ft speakers.. I didnt know soundbars couls produce such sound but that shut me up cu i thought no way it would be louder than my stereo unit.. JBL makes good speakers !!
I got one of these and afterwards - two. The only complaint is not related to the speaker itself, but to the application you must use to play stereo or party mode! You must do hocus pocus to obtain the stereo, and I do not have the patience for that. This way, we miss lots of the pleasure and the characteristics of this speaker.
Good to the point review. I have been using a Logitech not sure model but been 5 years. I have been always a headphone guy. Now deciding to pick one . Will it be BOSE or JBL. I care about more of sound rather than gimmicks of water proof and all. Thanks for your advice in advance
Great powerful speaker! But after 3 years using it daily on normal conditions, it became to burst the high bass sounds very badly and the battery charge is about 30min long.

I also did alot of research before buying it but now I'm at ease because this speaker met all my expectations. 👍 I bought it at Amazon btw.
My JBL charge 3 has a battery issue. It switches off when after one or two hrs, when one battery light goes off. Needs to be connected to power after that 😥
I looked at the Xb30 and hate it doesn't have a MicroUsb to charge it regardless of the sound quality who cares if it doesn't have micro usb, Looked at the XB31 and hate that you have to go into settings to make it sound better and doesn't have good drop resistance. Looked into the JBL charge 4 and hate the mono speaker. I'll be getting the Charge 3, sounds and looks well rounded.

How about its exposure to sunlight, stays on the car’s dashboard while driving for long hours.
