I know this video was in French but you have SAVED me I have been struggling with voicemeeter compatibility for a while. What you just did finally got all the dots to click for me and I finally have Voicemeeter routed to Winamp the way I want it with my ASIO interface. Thank you SO much!
As always, thank you for such an amazing piece of software. I started using Banana around 1 year ago for streaming purposes. Now though, I cannot live without it for even non-streaming stuff. The midi mapping, the gate/compressor, and eqing for all inputs/outputs, it's all so powerful.
Hello, thanks for the video. I have a question though: Is it possible to select an asio output as the input ? Just like you would do to loopback any media player for example ? (like spotify) I'm playing guitar through a DAW that has many plugins, and i would like to play it through VOICEMEETER after the presets (i don't want the raw input sound).
I am getting a USB microphone (with a headphone output) that has ''Class-Compliant'' drivers only. There are no drivers to install from the manufacturer. The manual advises to download ASIO4all for (for advance users) latency improvements in DAWs. Should I also install ASIO4all for this device on voicemeeter banana?
Thanks for the great video, it helped me a lot. I am using the input 1 (mic) of my steinberg as hardware input 1 in voicemeeter. I have the problem that left and right channel in voicemeeter are not equal. Right has higher gain than left. Any suggestions please?
How good would this work with a SONCOZ SGD1 Or DENAFRIPS ARES II or similar USB Dac and High res (24bit / 96kHz) and even higher DXD (24bit / 352.8kHz) and DSD audio files?
When setting the output to ASIO device, it's only capable of 4 channels, yet when connecting it to windows audio it allows 8 channels? How do we increase the ASIO channels. I have 12 available on ASIO, Voicemeter and ASIO Bridge only ever says there's 4?
@@vbaudiosoftware I've tried to join the forum but I never receive any email from admin confirming my account and an old account I don't receive an email reminder for a lost password either. Not in spam, so I think your mail server might be having issues perhaps?

@@vbaudiosoftware Thank you for your response. I tried that, but that doesnt change anything, the internal SR stays at 44.1khz. When i change the Internal SR in the control panel and start voicemeeter it jumps back to 44.1khz for example. Even that dont work.
@@vbaudiosoftware I actually found the error, which i would never think of in the first place. but now after 5 hours of trying everything i did. It wont work with VM Potato x64 exe but it works with the Voicemeeter Potato exe. I dont know why, but that change instantly to 48khz when i launched the other exe file. Thanks for your time!
When asio driver of my soundcard selected for A1 and if I used virtual asio from voice meeter in my daw, I have the same latency as if I select my asio driver of my sound card in the daw or voicemeeter add latency in addition of my native asio driver?
@@vbaudiosoftware thanks, If I understand, the latency is "my motu m4 asio latency (128samples/96Khz) + Buffering setting(128 in my case) and Asio SR (96Khz in my case) in the voicemeter system settings" = 2.7ms latency
128 sample at 96 kHz, makes 1.3 ms, I doubt even your ASIO driver is really working with this latency. Voicemeeter Virtual ASIO could not work on this buffer size, you may use 256 sample buffer at least (512 if it does not work). you may simply install voicemeeter and make test.
Voicemeeter works good for me most of the time, but after some amount of time either the hardware input or the hardware output will start flashing red and I have to re-select the input or output. This causes interruptions in calls and with streaming. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
Thanks a lot this video helping solve my problem, now I m using Xenyx 502usb with banana. But still not understand about recording part. Is there any Tutpral on this?
I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I have MOTU 8pre and I am *constantly* having issues with Voicemeeter. I've installed the necessary drivers and my 8pre is working in my DAW without any issues whatsoever, yet VB Potato is very often unable to read my interface and gives me a red flashing text in the output channel area. I just want this software to work...

I have Focuserite 6i6 2nd gen would like to make Mastering tutorials in Cubase Pro 10 incorporating my external hardware processors that are normally connected to input 3&4 as ExternalFX inside Cubase. How do I archive that similar routing using Voicemeeter ?
you may connect Cubase to Voicemeeter virtual ASIO (virtual insert will allow more routing flexibility) while Voicemeeter is connected to your ASIO device.
That was pretty fucking cool. I lost my volume control keyboard hook and was looking for a solution and landed on your video which is front loaded with useless music that I couldn't turn down fast enough. I'll look elsewhere.
firstly - wonderful application. great driver efficiency, reliability, and sound quality. secondly - i still do not understand what the "B" outputs are for, or where they actually go outside of voicemeeter. also, i have found it necessary to select both my RME Madiface Pro ASIO (A1), and my Realtek built-in driver (A2), in order to get a video of an Ableton Live demo to record properly. i don't think it's the best method, however, as it creates duplicate outs of the same input signal, which causes me to have to mute the Realtek device in windows sound mixer. there must be a better way to configure this for recording / streaming? also, i'm just using voicemeeter (no bananas today). merci.
