@@KatyJanner The VB-CABLE is a simple cable able to connect 2x applications together ( a player to a recorder) . So simply connect a player app to the VB-CABLE input and steam mic to VB-CABLE output.

Voicemeeter Potato offer a pitch shifter (called "Voice Modeler" on every physical input. To apply this effect to PC sound , you have to it to one of these physical inputs, or by using a VB-CABLE or by using the VAIO extension (new additional feature).

@@victorcossio Voicemeeter Banana (and Potato) Offers a 6 bands full parametric EQ on each output (up to 7.1 channels by output), but no pitch shifter. And i doubt your realtek enhancement option was including a pitch shifter...

For this use case, you may use Voicemeeter Banana or Voicemeeter Potato (offering more I/O).

@@vbaudiosoftware I installed Voicemeeter Banana and VB-virtual cable. I set voicemeeter input as my default playback device and voice meeter Output B1 as my default recording device and I set communication to "Do nothing" (I also set voice meeter output B1 as my default input for Discord). I set app volume for spotify, google and more apps outputs to "Cable Input". In voice meeter, I set my stereo inputs 1 and 2 to my microphone and cable output. Hardware out as my speakers/the device I use to listen to stuff. Additionally, I also set input sensitivity to -50DB on Discord, and set sample rate and bit depth to 48KHZ/24-bit and 2 channels for all devices on windows settings, including voicemeeter, cable input and output, my speakers and microphone. Results: it records music with a lot better quality now, but not consistently as the music audio sometimes glitches or doesn't get recorded specially when it's only melody in the background with no loud singer singing... Is there anything I can do to fix this issue or is that because my speakers or equipment aren't good enough? Also, thank you for your wonderful product I loved it ♥

@@vbaudiosoftware I solved it and managed to do it. I configured the A1 for Stereo Mix(main speakers) and A2 for the Bluetooth device and it works. However I do not now understand how to limit the Fader gain to NOT go beyond "0 dB" so I do not saturate the devices with the keyboard volume wheel. I´m searching this and I cannot find it anywhere. Also I do not understand why there are versions as normal, potato and banana. There is no clear explanation on why decide for each. HELP? Edit: I downloaded the full manual to check further, hopefully I will find it.

Yes its so confusing. I feel like I need to spend days just trying to learn the various settings for Voicemeeter vanilla. Clearly it is powerful but it's too much for my use case..

I was actually considering it, but after these last few months of dealing with your stupid "donationware," I am completely turned off on the idea of ever giving you any money. Not a cent. no, we did not test under this platform, assuming it's a x86 or x64 platform. if it's a problem on driver you may try the VB-Matrix and come on our Discord server to possibly report problem if any. we are going to update Voicemeeter with new virtual audio driver model in November, so if you want to follow our dev process and check it works in your conditions...

No, Voicemeeter keeps its activation code on windows update, or Voicemeeter re-installation, but may lose it when re-installing Windows from scratch. Then you will have to store your footprint before resetting your PC, as explained in this topic: forum.vb-audio.com/viewtopic.php?t=878
