yeah it's really very very important to understand our body......our parts and take care of them....although girl's body is much different than boys .....and really much care is needed for....it.......and don't underestimate any problem of our body......becoz if we ones underestimate it ..our family also underestimate it in future...........so we r the first caretaker of our delicate parts.............

I'm glad that in our school they taught this chapter very well and we had 2 days 2 sessions for it...1st day it was taught with a powerpoint presentation on a projector , in 2 different classes , separately for Boys & Girls also , it was not taught by our bio teacher , a gynecologist was especially called to teach the same...Then we were given blank papers on which we had to write our doubts without our names so that no doubt remains in mind of any child due to shyness. And on the 2nd day , 2 sessions again were conducted , separately , for boys and girls to answer their doubts. I'm very thankful for the same. P.S. My school is not that rich not am I but they tried their best to teach the chapter.
That's a great job done! Usually women hesitate talking about topics like these, but they need to understand how important personal hygiene is.. It really is an informative stuff which is essential for every women to be known about.
Am really surprised why she, being a doctor, recommended soap to wash our vagaina? Soaps can disturb the ph level of our vagaina and can cause infection/thrush. I would recommend to wash with water only.
I know soap can disturb the ph and many hygiene products like v wash should be used. But the reason she didn't mention this was because even now, 85% of girls still don't have access to pads because of the cost. For them too, instead of v wash, soap can be used as an alternative rather than just washing with water as bacteria don't get removed with it

I really recommend menstrual cups. I switched last year and will never go back to pads or tampons. Using it a long with reusable pads or a period panty makes your life so much easier. Yes, it takes a while to learn how to insert and remove and it's a bit of a learning curve, but if you figure out what works for you it's the most comfortable thing you can use (you hardly even feel it). And yes, you have to dig around inside and get your fingers all bloody till you figure put how to do it in a few minutes, but it's your own body, your own blood, you learn so much about your own insides that you never knew before, and it empowers you to learn what works for your body. When your body is regulating itself every month you owe this much to it. And when you have environmentally friendly and comfortable options out there now in the 21st century there's no excuse for throwing disposable pads around any more.

@@aspirant8225 depends on the brand but on an average Rs 300-400 for a single cup. this is the price that one pays for pads for 2-4 cycles depending where you are investing.. compare it to my 350 rs cup i got 2years back and since then havent spent a dime on pads or tampons is a breakfree from the monthly spends...

Ashali Aliasha don’t worry, usually a woman has her menstruations from 13 to 46 (it’s general, it can be a little bit sooner or later), if you’re 31 you still have a lot of time (even tho it’s more dangerous to have a child when you’re quite old) So don’t worry! You can still get pregnant by far! I would recommend not to wait too long tho :)

You can use lukewarm water.. It will be better.. If you can go for Lactacyd or anyother vaginal hygiene wash is great. Prefer that over soap

No the flow reduce as we age, that's all :) it reduces for everyone
Flow reduction is sometimes related to haemoglobin i.e anemic and thyroids..
