Hi I have a question I hope you can answer. I have my IELTS this Sunday and I have tickets booked for a trip out of the country the Saturday after that. Do you think my IELTS speaking will take place before I have to leave? Within 5 days from the Reading/writing?
The speaking test is one of the easiest of all I got 7 in speaking in just 3 days of studying my exam went on average I was expecting 6 or 6.5 as I spoke for only 1 min in part 2 and hardly 2 or 3 lines in part 3 questions but I was surprised by getting 7 as the test is marked on your speaking ability, fluency and pronounciation and not on the time you spoke for so my tip will be First don't panic for part 1 memorize answers as they are basically common For part 2 don't panic even if you spoke for 1 min it's ok. note that you have to be fluent and slow while speaking For part 3 they might ask tricky questions so be relaxed and don't try to use high vocabulary use normal ones and don't make grammatical mistakes Imp tip. Focus on your writing rather than speaking I was also an introvert and nervous still I got 7 while in writing I was fully confident with high vocabulary but ended up getting 6 so improve writing as other 3 are very easy
I gave the IELTS test with just 5 days of prep that started with this video. I just got the results. I've scored an overall band of 7.5🎉 (listening=8, reading=7.5, writing=7, speaking=7) It is more than what I was expecting 😌 After watching this video you will get familiar with all the test instructions along with the test pattern, but I just want to give away a few tips for each section 1. Listening: Focus is the key. Looking more for keywords will make you miss a few questions. And the scariest part is that you don't even realise it. So, don't lose focus on the recording at the back of your mind Underrated tip: You'll get some time to read the questions before the recording. PLEASE UTILISE IT!!! or else you don't know what you're looking for 2. Reading: While time management is important for this section, concentrating more on time can put you under pressure. Just have an eye on it and continue with the section Underrated tip: Just skim through the whole passage quickly. You might think that it is a waste of time. But trust me! It saves a lot of time. You can easily navigate through the passage while you are looking for answers 3. Writing: Even though I've scored less in this part. I'll just say what I have learnt. Writing a 7 band passage or an essay doesn't require any fancy vocabulary or usage of a lot of linking words(if your linking words grasp more attention then it's not good for your answer). Start with task 2 first and use 40 minutes for it. As it carries more weightage than task 1. Use last 20 minutes for task 1 Underrated tip: You just need to make sure that your sentences are grammatically correct to the best of your knowledge. And remember - "Just because a word is common doesn't make it bad to use." 4. Speaking: This is also one of my low scoring sections. I'll Just give my views. You just need to relax as much as you can. Well it is easy to say, but yeah I know it's hard, even I was nervous and messed a few parts. But remember one thing! You just need to speak good english. It does not need to be a correct answer. Underrated tip: If you relax then you will answer well, and when you answer well then you will relax even more. Believe the fact that you know English and your vocabulary is enough! If you Speak with rhythm & slow pace, then your pronunciation will just be fine. Love love this video. You are so gentle, thoughtful, and nurturing to the audience even if they get the answer wrong. Really appreciate the tips as well.
I literally had 3days to get ready for my exam I was so anxious I got a total bandscore of 6.5. Listening 7.5, reading 5.5, writing 6.5 and speaking 7.0.. I believe in that short period if I made it you will.
I did the computer based but the speaking test was definitely physical. I didn't have any books with me I just used UA-cam videos and a little practice and also have a key thing which is confidence.
Alright! This is the only video in my life that I have watched without skipping. In fact, I rewound several time. Clearly explained. It began with format, and then the breakdown of each section felt easy to understand. I thank you so much for collating all the critical information at one go in simple language and easy to understand videos. I am a subscriber for life. Thank you again.
I'm here to thank you for this wonderful & detailed video ❤ I was afraid of IELTS as naturally we're scared of all tests but I thought this was going to be way harder... I was wrong. I had only a week to prepare and got a band 7 overall. All thanks to your teaching! I just watched a few other videos, took practice tests on british council & IDP websites, and gave it a shot! Also, the result came out the next day (super fast!). I gave a computer-based exam on 17 August, 24. Plus I was sure my speaking didn't go well but guess what, my score's the highest in it! I think there's lenient marking. I gave it through British Council. Listening 7.5 Reading 6.5 Writing 6 Speaking 7 I must say listening was the easiest for me. One advice I'll give is to stick to paper-based if your typing's slow. I decided on computer one as I wanted the results early. Although my typing's way to slow, I managed somehow 😂

Brilliant explanation! Thank you very much for your hard work!
The speaking test is one of the easiest of all I got 7 in speaking in just 3 days of studying my exam went on average I was expecting 6 or 6.5 as I spoke for only 1 min in part 2 and hardly 2 or 3 lines in part 3 questions but I was surprised by getting 7 as the test is marked on your speaking ability, fluency and pronounciation and not on the time you spoke for so my tip will be
First don't panic for part 1 memorize answers as they are basically common
For part 2 don't panic even if you spoke for 1 min it's ok. note that you have to be fluent and slow while speaking
For part 3 they might ask tricky questions so be relaxed and don't try to use high vocabulary use normal ones and don't make grammatical mistakes
Imp tip.

I've scored an overall band of 7.5🎉 (listening=8, reading=7.5, writing=7, speaking=7)
It is more than what I was expecting 😌
After watching this video you will get familiar with all the test instructions along with the test pattern, but I just want to give away a few tips for each section
1. Listening:
Focus is the key. Looking more for keywords will make you miss a few questions. And the scariest part is that you don't even realise it. So, don't lose focus on the recording at the back of your mind
Underrated tip: You'll get some time to read the questions before the recording. PLEASE UTILISE IT!!! or else you don't know what you're looking for
2. Reading:
While time management is important for this section, concentrating more on time can put you under pressure. Just have an eye on it and continue with the section
Underrated tip: Just skim through the whole passage quickly. You might think that it is a waste of time. But trust me! It saves a lot of time. You can easily navigate through the passage while you are looking for answers
3. Writing:
Even though I've scored less in this part. Use last 20 minutes for task 1
Underrated tip:
You just need to make sure that your sentences are grammatically correct to the best of your knowledge. And remember - "Just because a word is common doesn't make it bad to use."
4. Speaking:
This is also one of my low scoring sections. I'll Just give my views.
You just need to relax as much as you can. Well it is easy to say, but yeah I know it's hard, even I was nervous and messed a few parts. But remember one thing! You just need to speak good english. It does not need to be a correct answer.
Underrated tip:

Thank you so much for this video it is very helpful.
Your videos are amazing, practical, clear and straight to the point. Thank you.
I literally had 3days to get ready for my exam I was so anxious I got a total bandscore of 6.5. Listening 7.5, reading 5.5, writing 6.5 and speaking 7.0.. I believe in that short period if I made it you will.
did you give computer based or paper based?? and did you use any books?
I did the computer based but the speaking test was definitely physical. I didn't have any books with me I just used UA-cam videos and a little practice and also have a key thing which is confidence.
@@naomimarigi3028was it hard ? 😭
@@Nono74579with confidence you'll ace it. I was Abit anxious at first
Great job! I got a 7
Hey Taskeen! It's such a pleasure seeing your video.
More will write you soon!
Thank you
thanks for the straight forward answers I found you easy n glad I don't waste my time on other vds
This my only first video watching today for IELTS preparation ❤🎉 thanks for this let's continue with video 😅
your video will be becoming helpful to new comers and initial level of English learners. You described easy and smart wat to get more productive
Nice to see you after a long time ma'am 😊 please continue to upload frequently with your high content videos as previously done.
Listening 7.5
Reading 6.5
Writing 6
Speaking 7
I must say listening was the easiest for me. One advice I'll give is to stick to paper-based if your typing's slow. I decided on computer one as I wanted the results early. Although my typing's way to slow, I managed somehow 😂
Such a great job salute you amazing before this video ielts was very difficult for me but with examples you make this video so understandable Thank you thank you so much 🤲 may god bless you always

Thank you so much! I think my English is decent, but since most of my English skills came from watching UA-cam and playing videogames, sometimes I doubt my abilities. Thankfully, I was able to answer most of the questions easily. I think I'm ready.
All the best!

A thorough and wonderful tutorial for the candidates who want to start preparion for the IELTS.
Omg, you're so good, I wish I had come across your channel a bit earlier. I watched a whole bunch of YT videos about IELTS, but this must be the most simplified video that I never knew I needed. I like how you say that it all comes with practice and that you're not trying to sell us another strategy that will miraculously make us achieve the desired score. I'll definitely check out other videos of yours. Thanks heaps!
Crisp and to the point information, thanks a lot for such an informative video.
My wife and I appeared for the IELTS exam 2 days ago and got our results within a day! Honestly, this was the only video we kept referencing to prepare for the exam. The video has been laid out very well explaining what to expect in each section. The various tips presented also helped us during the exam. We scored 8.5 and 7.5!
Thanks a lot for this guide. Hopeful to share my amazing experience and result soon
Excellent! Concise but precise! Keep going.
Thank you so much for this video, it has been so helpful. I had never check-out IELTS materials or information, and I had always assumed it was so difficult. From your explanation I am now very confident that I would do well easily
