Great vid mate, Two questions 1-would you consider swapping the sessions around for your next one? Gym first, followed by run? Secondly, what made you decide for a sumo deadlift Rather than a normal squat stance?
Thanks bro! I'd definitely try swapping the order of the run & lifts. They'd both effect the other discipline negatively, but it's worth attempting to see how the body would react. The race started at 9am and you have to be checked in for 7:30-8, so i'd need to wake up early and look for a 24 hour gym. I personally am stronger in a sumo. The range of motion is shorter than a conventional deadlift but more importantly it all depends on where your hip socket is located (everyone is different). If your socket is more on the outside and you have the mobility and athleticism, a sumo could be the one for you. The technique requires practice, which I'm constantly looking to perfect.
Crazy good video! You deserve thousands of subs. Well done bro, just competed in a Powerlifting meet this weekend and this video got recommended to me
Thank you mate! I appreciate your message. How did you get on at the powerlifting meet?
You inspire me so much ❤️
Thanks Bab!
