- Rode Wireless GO Review | Best Wireless Mic Under 180$ - I'm coupling the Rode Wireless Go with the DJI Osmo Action, to see how far it can go (180m/590feet). Ever since I bought the Rode Wireless Go and the DJI Osmo Action, I've ditched my Sony UWP-D16 wireless microphone, my GH5, GoPro and Olympus Cameras to go fully Rode/DJI. You forgot to mention that the Wireless Go II will record audio on the transmitters as backup in case the audio drops out. That ALONE - in my opinion - makes it worth the price! Plus you get 2 transmitters, so it's better for a 2 person interview. And I think it records in 32bit float, so no chance of clipping. That's the one I'm going to get, but right now, I just use a lav mic plugged into the Osmo Action. But you are SO right when you say this camera's video is exquisite!
It's just more reliable true! But the rode wireless go will become the new minimum standard. Probably the cheapest option ever for a pro result. There's a trick with a doubler, you can connect 2 devices to the same camera. Super good! Been doing it for a while now. Great for interviews or shorts. I love the go, I'm sure the go2 is superior. One day I'll get it if I find it worth upgrading.

Hi Vaibhav! Thanks for the nice comment! I was trying my black myst pro 1/2. But the results are obviously very bad. Not going to use it for head videos anymore that's for sure! Happy you enjoy the content! I love doing these videos! ☺️

Your DJI Osmo Action camera footage are so amazing 😍. I always wonder how you manage to capture HDR Video from the DJI Osmo Action with Rock Steady enabled ? And also I like to learn how to capture HDR POV using Osmo Action?
I use a Gimbal!! I put the links in the description if you're curious! HDR doesn't have rocksteady. It doesn't support it. So it needs a Gimbal. HDR pov needs a mouth mount for best results. Have you checked the kit I have? Thank you for the wonderful comment Nava ❤️

I'm having a horrible hissing noise on my set up for some reason. I am using the rode lavalier go rather the smartlav+. Just by going off what rode says to use for the wireless go, Its says to use the lav go and the smartlav is just for phones. I noticed how clean your audio was with no white noise what so ever and that's exactly what I'm looking for! I'm just so confused on which lav I should be using.
That's a fantastic microphone! Weird! Have you tried calling customer service? Maybe it's a defect!
You can apply noise reduction in post with Adobe audition. That fixes anything. Makes it super duoer quality audio.
@@WishCasting I think I figured out what’s going on. I was playing back the clip on the Osmo itself. I think the audio is just turned up on the camera. Once I played back the clip on my laptop I didn’t hear that hissing sound. Thanks for the reply. I’ve been using a zoom h1 for the past 5 years so this is all new to me lol.
My set up, love it and I recommend it too, use the mic with my other cameras too…

Have you tried using the dji care refresh? It works super good

I update it and still gettin heat
I have dji care refresh on my dji osmo action. If the damage is since day 1, send it back for warranty claim. Don't use the refresh. Shouldn't be a problem with that. I'm sure you have a defective unit. I'm not having warning signs anymore
