I'd like to say a huge thank you for helping me in fixing a MacBook Pro 2012. The wifi had stopped working and I had the wifi not installed message. I tried your advice to push but that didn't fix it. However, I removed the black tape over the lower right connector, revealing the silver contact head. I then noticed it wasn't seated correctly and removed it and reconnected it. The wifi then worked and the problem is resolved. Woo hoo!!!! TL;DR: This video helped me fix the problem by revealing the problem to be a poor contact on the lower right connector. Thank you! :-)

Sometimes I have to hit my touchpad hard so that the mouse starts clicking right again, so I must have knocked it loose doing that so many times(my MacBook is a 2012 MacBook Pro and it was used and didn’t hold a charge when I got it so it’s over a decade old, so that’s why the touchpad is shit.) Anyways, thank you again! You are a life saver! You have no idea how much Google searching I did and couldn’t find not ONE solution! My MacBook is a 15" MacBook Pro a1278 in 2009, is it possible to upgrade to Bluetooth 4.0 or higher?Can't I hand-off the old Macbook? I think it works in Sierra, but not in Ventura
What the hell, i have to unscrew these 10 screws at the back again? I removed them just now to physically disconnect battery and replug it again (SMC reset method on old macbooks). But after reset, the wifi card was still not detected (but Bluetooth worked fine). Let me try this now. My friend really doesn’t want to fork out a thousand pound for a new macbook.
My Bluetooth is working fine for mouse/keyboard,.. but if iIuse True Wireless Earphone the signal is weak and the sound is broken. ( I have tried 2 tws and the result is the same)
