The Pointer Sisters are just plain cool. Ace production, delivery. Unlikely, lowkey, uncommon charisma, their videos and their confidence keeps you wanting more
On "Fire", you heard Anita Pointer take the lead vocals. On this track it's June Pointer, the youngest, on lead. When someone finally requests a lead done by Ruth Pointer you will hear all the differences. Ruth is almost a Bass, her voice is so rich and deep. Three great voices making incredible noise.
the Pointer Sisters can do no wrong ❤️just an awesome group! love to see you getting to know their music 😀 beautiful review and love to hear the things that stood out to you about the Pointer Sisters 🥰😘😘
@@EmpressReacts he brought Barbara Streisand out of that Musical theater niche and into pop-diva land...he is a dude who was known to walk up and down the aisles at an orchestral session and take the instrument out of a brother's hand and show him how to do it. Haha just a giant in the biz, so I've read...
Love your reaction and LOVE these ladies! Saw them live in Vegas several times and they were 🔥🔥🔥🔥Check out their music video for the song "Jump (For My Love)"- it's a bop for sure.☮❤❤
Dang! Yessss! When these ladies sing, their personalities just shine through because if you check out any of their interviews here on UA-cam, they always came across so warm, sweet and funny. The joy just comes across so strong in their music. Check out Slow Hand, Automatic and Jump (For My Love) when you can. And also some more obscure later hits like Goldmine, He Turned Me Out and Friends Advice (Dont Take It). Now THOSE are bops for sure! 🎶👍🏻💕
They're from Oakland, CA the city that I live in. React to their songs I'm So Excited, Jump (For My Love), Automatic & Neutron Dance please. How do I find that post where you want me to post the Madonna related videos?
Love these sisters, so many great hits. Hopefully you’ll react to “Jump” eventually, I think that’s my favorite. I was shocked to find out as an adult that they sang the Pinball Number Count song I used to see all the time on Sesame Street as a kid. It was a kind of trippy cartoon with their voices singing numbers over it lol
I'm going to request some of their early jazz and vocalese songs that they started back around 1972. Their pop/rock songs are great but people forget that they started in jazz/blues/and even some country
Such a sweet reaction! It's a great song for sure, but I can't wait for you to devour the rest of the Pointer Sisters' singles (and even non-singles!) cuz there are so many 10s among them! And I love that they alternate lead vocals on all their songs.
They have soooo many great songs! Some of my favorites are… Happiness, Automatic, Dare Me, I’m In Love, Pride, Insanity, We Got The Power, Blind Faith, Hot Together.
The LEGENDARY Iconic Pointer Sisters 💯
Automatic. Dare me. Slow hand. All bops
Keep going on the Pointer Sisters. So many great hits.

LOVE LOVE THIS SONG!!! Reminds me of my mom, I grew up, listening to the pointer sisters was mildly obsessed with them not gonna lie.
I'm So Excited is another amazing song by the Pointer Sisters.
A timeless bop. Perfect description E. Glad you found these Sisters!!! Always loved them.
I'll say it again, there's nothing like sibling harmonies.

Such a great track. Love The Pointer Sisters! Reminds me of happy times as a kid with Mum and Dad playing this on the stereo system back in the 80s. 🙂

Classic soul at its finest 💯
i,m not shy about loving this song
The Pointer Sisters are a criminally underrated vocal group. Check out their last top 40 hit Dare Me.
This song by The Pointer sisters was such a hit back in 1980 that they appeared on an episode of The Love Boat and performed it. 🙏🏽✌🏽❤️
Shout out to Richard Perry who produced this....the white Quincy
Ah interesting. Never heard of him

Big disco hit by them in the late 1970s
