Thanks. Everyone builds a terrarium with a green wall with no soil, and then doesn't talk about feeding the plants. And I wasn't sure if they just survive on minerals in water ant CO2.

I would put some Buce in a separate container with separate substrate and just a few plants and test it. Use a very tiny amount of the fertilizer and see what happens.
Are these fertilizers safe for vivarium with reptiles in the ? I have a crested gecko and some frogs in another. my plants need nutrients not sure how to dose them.
Hi Adam, I cannot comment on the safety of any of my advice for animal vivariums, as I don't have the proper knowledge on the topic. I would suggestion joining some vivarium groups on Facebook, and/or try Dendroboard forums, and similar resources. I hope you find the info you need.

Can osmocote plus overwhelm plants or is that difficult to do?
Only if you over fertilize with it. Start with very little (depending on the plant) and then increase if necessary. Also be careful when using it that you don't apply other fertilizers to the same plants. TBH I am bit more conservative now then I was in the video.
An unrelated question. I want to add anubia nano petite to my terrarium. Can I glue it to driftwood or does it need soil?
It can grow on wood as long as the roots are constantly wet. It needs to always be wet and humid. So yes, you can glue it on there. Without any substrate, it may eventually need a little diluted fertilizer sprayed on the roots on occasion.
Help! Does this affect isopods or springtails???
Isopods and springtails should not be affected by most plant fertilizers.

Safe for clean up crew. I can’t comment about frogs since I don’t know the answer and only focus on plants on my channel

@Jamey Craig I don't keep any animals, and my channel is entirely focused on plants / plant-only displays (although I also cover terrestrial microfauna such as isopods and springtails)
