Dylan, Louis, and John rank 20 popular punk rock songs! 4 Songs per tier! Support PRR: www.punkrockradar.com Follow John: / punkrockradar Follow Dylan: / screechingbottlerocket
Ranking popular songs by punk bands is a tough one!! S tier for me would be ..NOFX...Face to Face...Goldfinger and Offspring... D tier...reel big fish...unwritten law...NFG and AFI... But the biggest thing in the vid that triggered me was Louis saying that Ramones stink but the clash are awesome....huh??? Clash are soooo over rated! Ramones have so many great songs... Anyway..great work guys...fun vid..
@@PunkRockRadar Linoleum, Fat Lip, Impression That I Get, My Friends Over You. For me personally, each of those just felt like a time capsule and unlocked lots of awesome memories. The overall list though is stacked!
It's very rare that bands have hits that are better or as convincing as the deep cuts. But it can happen, thinking of "Island Of Shame" or "May 16th" in the case of Lagwagon, "Should've Known" from No Fun At All or "No Cigar" as one of the best Millencolin-anthems.
@@PunkRockRadar I guess the remaining S-tier picks would be Linoleum, Fat Lip, and 21st Century Digital Boy. I think if New Found Glory's hit was "Hit or Miss" or "It's All Downhill From Here" that would have knocked out BR. Its a good song, but not among my favorite Bad Religion songs.
You guys ended up choosing Hybrid but it played Last Caress! Well, i guess the only hit on the list that is also my favorite song from the band is......Fat Lip!

I feel your pain with the Ramones comment 🗽
To me Ramones > Clash as well, by a wide margin, never got in to the Clash
Love this one. Lots of great hits, some not so much haha. Great picks!
Was a fun one, excited to do Pt II, I want to add a few more 90s alternative hits to mix it up
The variety on this one was great. I had fun playing along and surprising myself with how much pop-punk and ska I put up there haha.
What ended up in your S Tier? Going to work on Pt II in this series soon!

Despite me liking a lot of bands on here more than Goldfinger, Superman is the most S-tier "hit" on this list IMO. Never gets old somehow.
It's such a good song, I agree with what you said 100%, curious what your other "S" were

A lot of laughs with this one! I agree with most of the picks here...
This one will 100% have a Pt II, so I'm glad you liked it!
“D” for Blitzkrieg Bop is wild.😂
What about Descendents?

Haha yeah I had the song clips before we recorded, then I must have forgot
Today your love, tomorrow the world is better than blitzkrieg bop imo
Yeah Blitzkrieg Bop is pretty meh, my favorite Ramones track is Rockaway Beach
