You have an amazing family and that is something to definitely be thankful for. I loved your parents answers to the question regarding other parents that don't accept their LGBTQ+ children. I can see that they are truly wonderful people. Your brothers and cousins are great too! I'm also thankful for my accepting family as well and I'm not alone because I have two lesbian second cousins!
The best thing to see is you have a very loving and accepting family. They are so laid back...and none of them seemed annoyed at all being asked questions either...wonderful people. Chris you are a very lucky young man...and by the way...seeing you standing next to others in your family you seem taller than I thought you were....don't know why....

I laughed most when your Dad said that he can’t help being a nice guy, it’s just who he is! (…and he’s probably right!). And your Mom giving your props for your soccer skills (when the weather warms up, you should do a video showing us some of your soccer moves!). And all of your brothers and cousins are chill. You are so lucky to be in this family. And I think they all appreciate you too and recognize what a genuinely nice guy you are. Seriously, I couldn’t think of a higher compliment. Chris, your mom mentioned "Christmas Mass." My family is Catholic too. When ANY denomination of Christian TRIES to jam me up for being Gay, I simply point out that Jesus NEVER spoke against-key word AGAINST-LGBTQ people in any of the 4 Gospels. He spoke in favor of heterosexual marriage, but that is NOT the same as "against" our people. 🏳️🌈🕊️

Even so, if we think of this in terms of properly-ordered loves, Deuteronomy 6 is absolutely clear that we must love our neighbor as our own self. A man is *commanded* to love other men, women other women. However, what does that love look like? What desires between the same sex is good? What desires between the same sex are detestable? If I, a man, am envious of another man, not many folks find that to be a good desire. If I long to be in community with other men, this is an entirely natural, good, and Christ-like same-sex desire.

And to your point, I know Corinthians and Timothy are by St. Paul. The disciples of Jesus penned the Gospel accounts, too, so it's the same message reiterated in different ways.

you mother was spot on about coming out back in the days when she was in high school. it simply was not done or very rarely done and it was not even done during college. the environment back then was very very difficult and many of us did not even think we were gay but at some point it caught up to us and by then as working adults many but not all of us finally realized who we were. still many choose to not come out these days and that is fine. but for all of those who do you are very brave and courageous and respectful for who you are. back in my younger days it was just unheard of for parents to support their gay sons and daughters and when I finally realized who I was I hoped that my peers would be way more understanding than our parents. Thank you Chris. PS - isn't one of your other bothers gay as well?

Great to see ur family is so accepting, my family are Catholic & mormon so it didn’t go so well in my case. More than half of my cousin’s unfollowed me on social media and/or blocked my number, but they “ love me “ but cant accept my “lifestyle choices”, nd until i choose the “way of the lord” they will not accept my calls. Only reason they found out im gay is because my grandpa said “no he doesnt have a girlfriend he likes boys” that was a fun rest of the night😭

Glad to see your family is so accepting, and that's a credit to Chris and everyone else - AND it's also a credit to the generations of LGBTQ who went through HELL in the past decades by coming out to create the visibility that now makes this kind of acceptance possible and commonplace. Chris, that was wonderful! There are a lot of videos of cute guys I watch but some of them are so phoney as people. You come off as genuine and real. You are compassionate and decent. Not everybody is! Your family seems to be the same way. You are genuinely lucky!
