Sir when you connect diodes with a step down transformer which treminal did you connect. If the transformer is 6-0-6v then in a bridge reactifier we have to connect 6-0v or 6-6?
If you take 6-0-6 transformer for half wave rectifier the the input voltage will be 6 v For full wave and bridge rectifier the input voltage will be 12v Hope this is helpful… Do subscribe and keep supporting EC Academy ✌️
Sir how can we tell that which component is in series and which is in parallel in this circuit???specially for diode are they connected in series or parallel???please help
No reason as such it's just that full wave rectifiers are of two types one is centre tap rectifier that uses 2 diodes and the other is bridge wave which requires the use of four diodes

Very good question 👏 It is due to the direction of current flowing through the load resistance. In both positive half as well as negative half of input cycle the current will flow in the same direction through the load resistance. That’s why the output is positive in negative cycle. This is true for all the 3 types of rectifiers. Hope you understood. SUBSCRIBE and keep supporting EC Academy 👍
You need not do anything... Once you make a connection you will get the output. I have shown the operation that will happen. Do subscribe and keep supporting EC Academy ✌️
@@ECAcademy no I'm asking about the circuit u've drawn After placing the wave u are assigning polarities for each diode right? How can we predict that?
Very good question... The output voltage waveform depends on the direction of current flow through the load resistor. If you can trace the current flow in both the positive and negative half of the input. The direction of the current flow is in the same direction... That's why we will get output as shown... Hope this was helpful... Do subscribe and keep supporting EC Academy ✌️
Derivations will be same as full wave rectifier... if they as for any derivation in bridge rectifier... you can do the same derivation as full wave rectifier.... Hope this was helpful... Do subscribe and keep supporting EC Academy 👍🏼
Starting ka chilane vala music hatao yar dimag kharab karta he hadphone pehane ho te he pehale volum slow krna padta he fir ted bohat irritating staring he 😑😑
The circuit diagram was wrong as well as the explanation because current is changing it's polarity after each cycle even after the application of rectifier, i.e the purpose of it is futile which is not correct. Wrong explaination provided.
The circuit and explanation is absolutely correct.... you've not clearly understood the concept... We are measuring output voltage across the load resistor... The direction of current is the same across the load resistor for both the cycles of input... Hence the output is rectified... Hope this is helpful.... Do subscribe and keep supporting EC Academy ✌️

That depends on the polarities at the secondary of the transformer... You watch the full-wave rectifier you will understand clearly.
