are VR and iR negative or you just represented them on the negative side to show that the diode is working on reverse?

Vr and Ir represents reverse voltage and reverse current when diode is operating in reverse bias. Practically if we measure these values will be negative. Hope you understood

Sir actually you uh didn't told about what is zener diode will you say, what does it mean?

A Zener diode is a silicon semiconductor device that permits current to flow in either a forward or reverse direction. ... The Zener diode has a well-defined reverse-breakdown voltage, at which it starts conducting current, and continues operating continuously in the reverse-bias mode without getting damaged.
