I was stationed on a Aircraft Carrier in the early 80's , F-14s, E6's F8 crusaders etc... Nothing like the sound at the o9 deck of the island watching a F14 taking off as dusk. Awesome.
Fun for all. Back in the day, we couldn't cycle through a civilian airport because the F-4 required a military "huffer" cart to spin the turbine for startup. Also required external power to light off.
Shut those crickets down for a few seconds. But they put those little legs to work, along with the car horn, to restore the peace. Warriors, all!!! God Bless America!!!

Love it ! I can watch aircraft all day long. Lift vs drag, lift always wins.
Nice hearing the car alarms

Beautifully brutal the F/A-18 is!
Bet the folks at that Marriot love it!
Badass.
The jet made the car alarm go off, lol.
Interesting. I've never seen a stop sign at the hold short line
Hornet is such a sexy aircraft
Talk about a "LowViz" paint scheme!
Odd there are no unit markings on this Hornet.
Hear the car alarms in the lot ? Lol
I missed it 😭
There goes a cricket!!!
God Bless America and all who have served.
I wonder if they fueled it up on whiskey!
F/A-18E SuperHornet. You can tell by the single seat and the square air inlets. He probably had a Tinder date in Lynchburg :)
