  • Welcome, this is a video where I’m fitting the Simagic haptic reactors to my Heusinkveld pedals.
Edit The button on the side isn’t a power button, it’s used when you pair the reactors with the P2000 pedals.

If you have the correct length M3 screws and washer/nut you can bypass the need for the extra bracket. I used the provided plate and it sits flush like it was made for the pedal. I do have my pedals one position lower though. So the top two holes are free.

Thanks Robert, I saw someone on a facebook group that posted a picture that looked like they were mounted direct. I thought I’d imagined it but it makes sense now. Cheers mate

There’s video up on UA-cam on how to direct mount the haptics to the huesinkveld ultimates. I tried but ultimately gave up and used the mounts. It probably was my fault as I tried to do the install without taking the pedals off the rig, the video was good but could’ve been more detailed. He doesn’t tell you the size screw and nut needed. Which could’ve saved me several trips to the hardware store. Also glueing or taping the top hat nut for the foot plate to each pedal arm was a PITA. The tape wasn’t strong enough and the glue has to cure first if any glue gets on the nut threads, the screw for the foot plate won’t screw in. Your video was great and allowed me to do the install in about 40 minutes. I was messing with the no mount way for three days before I decided to quit😂

@@kevinstevens3429hi Kevin, I’m glad it helped mate. I did take a look at directly mounting them and I’m glad I just went for the adapters. It was nice and easy.

Thanks for the video. Are the reactors loud? Can other people in the same room hear them? If you don't wear headphones, can you hear them while driving? That's what I'm worried about with any shakers.

Hi Kenny, they can be loud if the frequency is low and the power is high. It’s not so much the reactors themselves, but with these pedals being all metal they make the rumble sound louder. If I didn’t wear headphones I don’t think I could put up with the noise.
They aren’t as loud as the buttkicker though, that’s one you can hear in other rooms.

They will also mount directly to Huesinkveld. I wish people would stop buying those adapters. You simply don’t need them

They’re absolutely amazing mate, I’ve just done a 2.4 hour Lemans race and didn’t flat spot the tyres once
