As an American, this entire MAGA congress policy blockade, don't attack Russian oil production, don't attack Russian territory is shameful and embarrassing.
They probably invested money in Russian oil production and now they trying to protect it. The same was going on during WW2. American investors were protesting bombing of certain German factories for the same reasons.
The only rationale for western sources discouraging attacks on Russian oil refineries is a potential increase in gas prices in the U.S. during an election year. Losing the white house is worse than a several months ban on those attacks.

This interview was so good. Really great, thoughtful questions that could get real, thoughtful answers. I watched TVP World's interview with Hodges yesterday and the interview structure seemed like SUCH a waste of this man's time. The silicon curtain interviewer is miles ahead, so, so pro and good.
Jonathon Fink is so smart that he goes above most people’s heads, let’s face it. The level of education in the U.S. is so dreadful, kids that graduate college can’t even understand plain English. The EU is helping with taking in millions of Ukrainien women, children, elders giving them shelter, work and money to live and send home. Thank you for this show. Listening LtGen Hodges has renewed some of my waning confidence in the people who control the US military. All we ever see of them on news are the politically reliant people who are part of the government, and who have to filter all their comments through the political aspect. If you're a student of history, it's not hard to realize that what they are saying borders on idiocy and makes one wonder if they have any capability. Hearing Hodges views seem so realistic as an assessment of the threat Russia poses to us and how our chess game with them on the issues are failing miserably. Hearing his sensible and realistic evaluation of the threat Russia poses to us renews some of my confidence in the ability of our military leaders. Everyone in this country should watch the documentary that is available on streaming service, "20 days in Mariopul" to how horrible it can be to be really at war.

I simply saw what Russia was doing and formed my opinion. The same opinion I adopted of my own country, the US, when they invaded Iraq. all this anti NATO sentiment amongst "Americans" on social media didn't start until after Russia's mass disinformation campaign that really took off in 2015. Thousands of fake American FBI profiles and Twitter bots traced back to Eastern Troll farms. The notion that crude oil prices won’t go up if Ukraine attacks Russian oil supplies, because the attacks are on refined oil and not crude oil, reflects a pretty profound misunderstanding of supply/demand.
Putin sent the Wagner forces there after Prigozhin’s “March” on Moscow. They were seen to be apparently training up part of the Belarusian’s army according to Lukashenko But I believed Belarus got fed up with their bad behaviour. They tried to attack the western boarder which got Lukashenko tetchy. I believe most have since moved back to what Wagner were previous up to in Africa.

General Hodges is a soldier’s commander. He is apolitical. And knows his trade. I was on the sharp end of the stick. We were cursed with senior commanders who were bureaucrats and highly political. Jonathon Fink is so smart that he goes above most people’s heads, let’s face it. The level of education in the U.S. is so dreadful, kids that graduate college can’t even understand plain English. Even Ben Hodges, who has been living in Europe for some time, is head and shoulders intellectually above most American generals of his rank, which is why all the European channels love to interview him.
To have Ben Hodges be President of the U.S. would be a dream come true!

The next country is France with 10,9%, then Russia with 10,5%, China with 5.8%, Germany with 5,6%, Italy 4,3%, UK 3,7%, Italy 2,7%.. How is the EU supposed to help Ukraine with military needs??? The EU is helping with taking in millions of Ukrainien women, children, elders giving them shelter, work and money to live and send home. So it is a disgrace that Trump is keeping the US from supplying Ukraine with munition etc.
Thank you for this show. Listening LtGen Hodges has renewed some of my waning confidence in the people who control the US military. All we ever see of them on news are the politically reliant people who are part of the government, and who have to filter all their comments through the political aspect. If you're a student of history, it's not hard to realize that what they are saying borders on idiocy and makes one wonder if they have any capability. Hearing Hodges views seem so realistic as an assessment of the threat Russia poses to us and how our chess game with them on the issues are failing miserably. Hearing his sensible and realistic evaluation of the threat Russia poses to us renews some of my confidence in the ability of our military leaders. Everyone in this country should watch the documentary that is available on streaming service, "20 days in Mariopul" to how horrible it can be to be really at war.

I was on the sharp end of the stick. We were cursed with senior commanders who were bureaucrats and highly political. Plus a lot of inferior equipment.
