  • Hello Out There! 👋🏽✨ After making the flower bud demo last month, I thought it would be fun to share with you how to make flowers on copper wire to make a tiny bouquet! These are very simple and easy to achieve with the right tools…(like something to hold the copper wire with). I am using an Italian style rod holder…you can find it at frantzartglass...
I hope you all enjoy these fun and beautiful pieces and make some for your friends and loved ones!!✨
Thanks so much for joining me! Cheers- Robin 🌹🌹🌹

Dear Robin, Many thanks for this very nice Bouquet. I have continued to follow your great videos every week, they always bring me joy though I have been very silent and not thanked you recently. There is a reason :
I hesitated but somehow « needed » to tell you. This joy your videos bring me is much needed these days since I lost my 21 year old daughter in June, it was too difficult to live for her, she was in depression and we saw nothing, we didn’t know !!!
Today, I decided to make your Bouquet, for her… for my beloved Garance…
I made six flowers, will see tomorrow the result.
Thank you so much for being there for all of us, dear Robin ❤️💐.

Hello Sonia! 🌹 I can’t believe what I’m reading from you….please accept our deepest sympathy and condolences. It is so heartbreaking to hear this news and I am sending you, your family and dearest Garance much love and healing thoughts. I understand just how difficult living with depression can be….I too struggle with depression and anxiety. It can be very isolating and difficult to live with.
I’m glad that you made a bouquet for her…there is so much healing found in the creative process.
Sometimes the only place I can free my mind is in the dungeon melting glass. I hope you can find some relief and healing through flameworking as well….and know the Garance is always and forever by your side. Please don’t ever hesitate to reach out to me Sonia. I am here for you and am glad to know that these demos have helped to bring you some light in the darkness.
All my love to you dear friend - Robin🌈✨✨✨🌹

Hi Robin, I have been doing floral beads trying to get the Francis Orr effect. But really like that your flowers are not delicate they are bold and rather cartoon like (fun) and really charming. When I feel in an artistic slump I always find inspiration and uplifting demo's from you. Hope you are well.

    • @scottwoodresearch
      @scottwoodresearch  22 дні тому +1

Hi Vicki! 🌹💫 Florals are lots of fun to play with…so many different styles! It’s interesting that you brought up Francis Orr… I have seen her beads and they are beautiful! The technique she uses, I see often in floral beads ….but she has certainly perfected it over time!!🖤✨✨✨
In fact that technique is one I have yet to show because it requires lot’s of practice! 😅 …but it is still doable! (And on my list of things to research) 🌹✨
Im so glad that you feel inspired by these demos…My intention has always been to 1- Inspire and Uplift! 🤗 And 2-make things easy to learn, practice, and execute something to be proud of while having fun. 🌹 Thank you so very much for sharing! Big hugs and cheers - Robin 🌈🌹💫

You're absolutely one of my favorite lampworkers (and I'm a boro guy). I mentioned to you through my other account that I think you could have a lot of success in the boro/functional glass world. I would collect your work, for sure! You work clean and have a lot of techniques in your repertoire. Would love to see you do some silver and gold fume work (maybe a classic coil pot or wrap and rake. Would love to see you do a pendant production line.
Take care, Robin (hope I didn't misspell that lol)!

Hi Brad! 🌹✨ I am truly touched by your comments….thank you! 😃 One of these days I’ll get back into making production work. Patrick and I used to do all the art shows selling our glass…it was fun!
I do love the repetition of making glassware and jewelry…but things changed drastically for me when I left the museum. Life is crazy when the unexpected happens 😂🙏🏽 …I’m just glad to be here!!🌹
And I am honored to be on your favorites list!! 💫 Thank you so very much for your kind words of encouragement! Hope you’re having a wonderful week! 👋🏽 🤗 Cheers - Robin 🌈✨✨

How do you coat the mandle with clay in the middle instead of at end. Do you use a paintbrush?? Its such a great idea to handle both ends

    • @scottwoodresearch

Hello Lois! 👋🏽💫 Thanks for asking! If you go to the Flameworking 101 playlist you will find it at the bottom. …101.01 - in the middle. It’s so much easier for me with the release in the middle….I have more control especially with my shaky hands! 😅 Cheers- Robin🌈✨
