Half way through build on this and worst kit I've ever laid hands on. Very little fits as it should and the instructions are dire. Many times I've nearly binned it but going to finish it eventually..
Great kit and review thanks for taking the time to show off this new kit. I now know what my next project is, looks like no need for any after market at all. All the best for now cheers Dave.
NUTS! I purchased my Hi-Tech months ago BUT, it's # SH 32052! My kit does NOT come with the Napier, RATS! That was my only complaint about the kit, 1/32nd and no Napier? Someone listened, but too late for me. Oh well, guess if I want the Napier it's time to spend more money! Thanks for ruining my day Viktor! HA! Just kidding, Thanks for the review,
That engine looks amazing, but the lower portion of it is buried in resin, or did you show a defective piece? I'm also curious if this is this the same kit that Zdeněk Šebesta built in issue 85 of Meng Air?
@@dsv :: Thank you for letting me know, but what about the engine? The one you show in this video (8:32) is still half buried in a block of resin, but the one built by Zdeněk Šebesta is a complete motor. I'm just curious, are there parts to the engine that you didn't show? Many thanks and please keep the show going.
ahhh, you mean this :) There is a separate resin engine kit, which you can buy as addition to this plastic. I think I did video-review on this product.
@@dsv Cool, thanks. I went back and re-read the Meng article and found where he mentions the CMK resin detail kit, so sorry for any bother. It's an inspiring build but not a cheap one, thus my query. Anyway, I'll look for your engine review. Thanks again.
Nice review! I just stopped building the model the second time now, for me it is a waste of time and money. The parts sometimes fit not at all (like the firewall, it is much to big to fit it in the fuselage). The resin block below the engine is ridiculous, you need to grind so much material to fit it and now that I have already cut away other pieces of the fuselage to make it fit I can either spend a long time fiddeling or throw the model and revert back to Revell... For this selling price I would have expected a bit of accuracy but this kit is just crap (including the sometimes hard to read manual)... Very sad, was looking forward to this built...
@@dsv listen, as an englishmanni just want you to note that we don't talk so fast. Poles do! My wife is polish thus I do understand the problem. If you wouldn't be so offended but would at least try to understand then you might get more English viewers!

This one should be definitely worth investing your time in. :)
Radial engine ?

hehe, well, it's all models are about - we get one, then we want more :D

Yes, it is the same kit. You can see photos of that model on several expo reports on our channel. ;)

hm, strange... I hope you will be able to finish this project :)
@@dsv Gonna give it a third chance tonight! otherwise it will end up in the bin and I am going to buy the Revell model ;-)
@@mexicanfoodporn do you mean revell 1/32? It is a rebox of Special Hobby kit, lol :D
@@dsv ah really? dammit... now I have to pull through with this kit!
I wish you had shown if the exhaust pipes were hollowed out on the ends. Otherwise very good review.
Thank you for the comment. You can check it in our article. As far as I remember, they looked good :)
The Tempest had an inline engine.
Stop talking so fast ok
Stop telling people what to do, okay? :D
