Thank you so much! My husband is main engineer who developed ISOCELL HP2 Image sensor. He also developed CMOS Image sensor which used for Galaxy 20 Ultra. Since 2018, he continues working really hard for these Image sensors and his health is very bad. This morning he had meeting for Galaxy S23 Ultra video quaility issue as it is scolded for too much scattering. Even after successful launching with new reservation sales record, He had to stay up quite a few times including last night... So watching your wonderful presentation for Galaxy S23 Ultra is very personally inspiring and made me more proud of my husband. I am your subscriber since last year and I do really enjoy your travel video clips and it helped me alot for planning my trip to europe and America. I was watching your prague playlist and found out newly uploaded S Ultra presentation. OMG! I've had this phone for about 3 months now and had no idea what I had! I had a complete photographer's camera/video studio back in 2013. Criminal actions took all of it away. I've retired since and was thinking of trying to rebuild my studio. You just showed me that I don't have to, that I already have my studio in my hands! WOW! Thank you so much! LOL, I've been recording amateur videos for my own yt channel and now I laugh in embarrassment. I've just gone into self training on my S23 Ultra. WOW!

This is a great video for people that have minimal knowledge about the functionality of Samsung devices specifically. if you have any experience with these devices and you're at all technologically knowledgeable, you're probably well aware of the majority of these functions. The functionality of the s pen is noteworthy as well, ( get it noteworthy pen), which can operate as a remote for the device if it's on a tripod you can change camera lenses and also change from the front to rear camera with the flick of the wrist and the press of the button, also you can both begin and stop recording with the s pen.
I have watched this video numerous times to refresh my memory before my family trip to Sesame Place. Now I need do editing and see if what I learned is what I applied to filming.

I guess the question implies I'm using the front cam whereas your tutorial says use the back cam which is impossible to monitor without another monitor. It might seem elementary but as a previous non-selfie taker this has given me a lot of agony and why I landed on your 15 tips video searching for an answer. I don't see this addressed much on other channels. If you have a quick solution that would be great. Also a subject for a video in itself?
If you're using the selfie camera then you want to look in to that small camera that's on the edge of the screen. Don't look at the center of the screen as you'll seem like you're looking off

This is an amazing in depth video that has taught me a lot. I had a question about recording video on s23 that no one answers yet, I hope you will. Does the s23 have a time limit if it records 4k and 8k? My older samsung s9 plus has a limit on 4k and I'm hoping the newest phone doesn't.
Thanks for creating such a great video! would like to add one important thing. I bought the dji wireless microphone in large part due to watching this video. I love the microphone, but be aware, it will not connect properly to your 23 ultra C port. Unless you remove your phone from the case! Or have an extremely thin case. This is a known issue I discovered too late

For a dark space on a tripod use the Pro Video mode and dial in the EV and ISO until it looks bright enough. I think the Omni for the mic is probably fine. Audio won't be great when it's super loud anyway
I film and edit all my videos on my Note 20 Ultra. I even started a 2nd channel dedicated to unedited 8K video from my Note. I just purchased a microphone for the first time. My next phone will probably be the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra next year. Awesome video, sir. 📱 🇺🇸

The problem with the resolution settings is that you don't get a choice when you're using the [Full] screen aspect ratio option. You're fixed at 1080x2320 30fps. I hate that because I prefer shooting in full frame
With other reviews, seems the DJI OM 6 gimbal is more compatible with Apple iphone and there are some limitations, such as fps, when pairing an Android phone with DJI OM 6 gimbal. Can you provide your perspective of compatability issues and why Samsung android users cannot download the DJI app for the gimbal? Wondering what app you are using for the DJI OM 6 gimbal with your Samsung S23 Ultra? Thanks so much!
Hi Patti -- to use the DJI Gimbal App for any Android device you need to download the app directly from the DJI website. But really I don't use the DJI App itself on a day to day basis. I record with the normal Samsung camera App. And I simply use the gimbal for stablization.. I don't use any of the other gimbal features that might need the app

Hi Nick -- hmm.. I generally just do color correction afterwards in editing and don't try to set the color on the phone. But look in pro mode, maybe you need to tweak your white balance

Thanks for the tips. It gave me some interesting ideas for videos. The issue I'm having with my new s23 ultra is the audio being very low at the beginning of a recording. I mostly video freight trains, which are obviously loud, but the audio sounds as if I'm covering the mic until the train is right on top of me. Then BAM was loud as S and a train driving through your melon. I've only had this phone a week or 2 and it's the only way I shoot videos besides my live stream. Anyone who loves trains like me feel free to check them out. Any help from you or your followers would be greatly appreciated. I put a lot of time and effort and travel into my videos and want them to be the best possible.

Congratulations for the video. I'm a video enthusiast and I've noticed some jumps and judders in panoramic shots (right - left and left - right)that I don't like. Is this a problem that persists even with the latest April updates? But is this defect of the jump in the panoramic shots also present in the iPhone 14 pro? can you adjust mic level in regular video mode or only pro video? can you adjust mic level with the dji add on mic you showed? i do a lot of videos at festivals and adjusting mic level to avoid the music blowing out the audio is a must. great video!

What blows me away......... the changes in technology, mainly live streaming in my lifetime. I remember the 1960's TV news would go to a remote site live. large camera attached to a large tripod, a truck with a satlelite dish. I would guess a million dollars of stuff, and we still got a fuzzy picture. In todays world a guy with a small handheld devise can stream live with near TV production images.
Hi Kim -- you generally can't use all of the fancy Samsung camera features when you're live streaming. Whatever platform you are livestreaming too you'll be using their app. And those are built for all phones. So significantly less capability when live streaming
I have an S23 FE, using an external microphone, can I combine left and right channels in the S23 for mono? I have many antique jukeboxes, radios, musical devices and just want mono for sharing on you tube. Thank You.
Hmm.. well some Microphones might just record in to mono. That's probably your best bet. If not you could certainly make it mono using some video editing software afterwards

How do you transfer just one video from your cell phone to the computer for a quick combining left and right channel audio? Not too worried about editing the video, but do want to keep the 4k hdr quality for future reference. I have two condenser microphones and could just use both for a left and right channel? You also might know since you are using youtube. Upon uploading a few test videos, sometimes youtube squashes the video, puts the bars on either side of the video and sometimes does not. Is there a setting or way to keep them full screen? Thanks so very much for your time.

Yesterday I started recording video vertically and while recording switched horizontally. When viewing the video I recorded half of it is at a 45° angle. If you start recording vertically or horizontally do you have to stay that way? If this makes sense
How come my S23 ultra don't have video potrat mode. Do I have to download? I went to more but there isn't photo and video potrat mode like I see in yours s23

The human eye doesn't really perceive a difference between 30 FPS and 60 FPS. 60 is most useful if you want to do some slow motion because you can slow it down twice as slow without losing quality

Yes.. "most" of this works with S23.. you just have fewer lenses/zooms

I usually record at 4K30. You'll want an extra battery pack to charge the camera if you're shooting for 2 hours

I don't know about streaming from the UA-cam app. It captures the DJI mic when recording the native camera app though as thats what I use

Hmmm.. not sure Massimo. I don't really use the Panorama photo mode

You can only adjust the audio in pro mode. And yes. The DJI Mic does allow you to set its gain level from its own touch screen on the reciever

I would guess a million dollars of stuff, and we still got a fuzzy picture. In todays world a guy with a small handheld devise can stream live with near TV production images.
How long can you actually do a video recording using the HD4?
Just bought a dji om 5 , do you normally use the dji app or the Samsung native camera app

Do these same principals apply when live streaming as well?
Hi Kim -- you generally can't use all of the fancy Samsung camera features when you're live streaming. Whatever platform you are livestreaming too you'll be using their app. And those are built for all phones. So significantly less capability when live streaming

I have an S23 FE, using an external microphone, can I combine left and right channels in the S23 for mono? I have many antique jukeboxes, radios, musical devices and just want mono for sharing on you tube. Thank You.
Hmm.. well some Microphones might just record in to mono. That's probably your best bet. If not you could certainly make it mono using some video editing software afterwards

How do you transfer just one video from your cell phone to the computer for a quick combining left and right channel audio? Not too worried about editing the video, but do want to keep the 4k hdr quality for future reference. I have two condenser microphones and could just use both for a left and right channel? You also might know since you are using youtube. Upon uploading a few test videos, sometimes youtube squashes the video, puts the bars on either side of the video and sometimes does not. Is there a setting or way to keep them full screen? Thanks so very much for your time.

Yes. I connect my phone to my computer via a USB cable, then edit on my computer before uploading to UA-cam or wherever
@Yellow Productions ok yea I just got the phone. I tried to just add the videos on my phone editor, then uploaded them, and it was grainy, and i wanted to figure it out ok so I need a USB to usbc cable and I'm assuming android file transfer app? Since I'm using Mac book

Yesterday I started recording video vertically and while recording switched horizontally. When viewing the video I recorded half of it is at a 45° angle. If you start recording vertically or horizontally do you have to stay that way? If this makes sense

It has 30 and 24 FPS. 24 FPS is only available in pro video mode
How come my S23 ultra don't have video potrat mode. Do I have to download? I went to more but there isn't photo and video potrat mode like I see in yours s23

The 23 series doesn't reeaaallly need a gimbal unless your in really low light. The stabilization on the 23 series is just butter. Iphone who?!
I like to do walking tours. So the gimbal helps
@@YellowProductions I did a running test(in daylight) with normal stabilization at 4k 60 fps, and it looked like a gimbal. Super impressive.
I never knew phone cameras could do so much. I have an iPhone so I’ve never really looked into what I could do with it. Maybe I should do that. You can’t do one of these videos for the iPhone can you LOL

Samsung needs to do more work to challange iphone video quality
why use 30fps instead 60fps?
The human eye doesn't really perceive a difference between 30 FPS and 60 FPS. 60 is most useful if you want to do some slow motion because you can slow it down twice as slow without losing quality

8K 60 is what is needed, the 30fps is still useless .. not as bad as the s22, but still basically a gimmick
