- Team USA's Tatyana McFadden finished second in the women's 800m T54 in Tokyo, marking her 19th Paralympic medal. Her training partner Susannah Scaroni took bronze.

In wheelchair basketball they talk about running an open ball back to a basket.
@@warcraftlake7 and people with blindness and other visual impairments often say stuff like "see you later." Some people with disabilities get offended by stuff like this, but many/most don't.
On totally serious note, if the athletes have different levels of missing lower limbs wouldn’t the weight differences be sort of unfair? Like paralyzed vs amputated, or knees vs waist?
Olympic track & field events don't have weight limits but I guess it's possible there are athlete/chair combined weight limits.
There are already numerous classifications for the paralympics. I don't know how much more they can standardize the classes and still have enough people to compete.
