Men's 100m T64 comes down to photo finish, historic tie for bronze | Tokyo 2020 Paralympics
Such a great race!!! That ending was tiiiiiiight!!!!
Lol you must be wacko
@@flyhigh5501 not at all!
I think I'm noticing more camaraderie and friendly physical greetings/celebration after the race than the original Olympic racers?
I just said the same thing! 🥰 It's a beautiful thing to watch: true sportsmanship between them all!
For sure and really like seeing it. A lot of mutual respect! They are 8 of the best at what they do!
I was just saying that to my wife.
I've noticed that with a lot of newer sports, or at least sports that haven't been main stream for very long, anyone who is competitive in that sport only has a few true peers that they likely see at most events. I imagine the number of world class disabled sprinters is a much smaller number than non-disabled. I would bet most of the runners in this race have met multiple times in the past and are all in a much smaller club than traditional olympic athletes. If you compare traditional marathon running to ultra-marathon running you will notice a similar thing, ultra runners know each other and in some cases meet up before events to hang out for a few days. Traditional marathon running is one of the oldest competitive sports in history, there are more people in that event than almost any other sport which means they rarely see the exact same athletes at each event.
smaller overall community and fewer sports in the Paralympics means more overlap in training areas/gyms and more people pushed together. Of course they form bonds!
A special shout out to the Tico (Costa Rica) athlete for the Silver medal! Awesome race by super athletes and Olympians!
The other German had tremendous closing speed
Floors, indeed…
These guys are missing 2 legs and can still run a 100m dash quicker than I will ever be able to
Isn't that something, i kept looking at the time, very good
That's awesome! These athletes are so inspirational. Congrats to all these studs
Staggeringly impressive. Racing doesn’t get any better than this.
Johannes Floors reeled in that bronze big time, what a finish that was lol
Lol he would have won the gold if the race was 105m
Still proud of you Hunter!!👏🏼🇺🇸
Big BIG respect to this athletes wow.
It's the sincere congratulations that they all give each other that is the true inspiration here. Sport at its best.
I’ve noticed there’s a strong correlation between great athletes having good sportsmanship and mental game.
if that floors dude would have gotten a good start, he would've smoked everybody. dude was flying at the end
That’s indeed his good start. He will never be as quick as single amputees out of the blocks. They make him look slow in the start but he isn’t.
He won the 400m final :)
These guys run so fast with only 1 good leg. Incredible
Love all the handshakes and hugs after the race
We see you Hunter🥰 still proud!
Even though he was in last place by far?
@@AnakinSkywalker-mm3gi yes… in the Paralympic final with one less limb than the rest of them. Proud of all these athletes for what they’ve had to overcome
@@AnakinSkywalker-mm3gi you're to old to need attention.
@@kimbermichelle3922 Good on him for getting to the Paralymics but why celebrate failure? Participation prizes are destroying this country. Do you know him or something?
@@acerah8021 many have none....
Great sportsmanship. That's good stuff right there
Congratulations to Felix Streng for winning the Gold. The Silver to Guity and the bronze medal winner was real close a photo finish! Congratulations to Jonnie Peacock and Johannes Floors for winning the bronze medal!
Congratulations Germany, Costa Rica, and Great Britain!✨ ✨🇩🇪✨🇨🇷✨🇬🇧✨ 👏👏👏👏👏
Now that was a fantastic finish. Congrats and thanks for providing such an inspiring race.
They all won. Such great inspiration.
That closing speed by Floors is phenomenal. He probably would have e won - his start messed him up. Wow. Congrats to all of them as they are inspirations
Looks like he was the only double amputee in the final.
Great race! Fast times too! I love it! Keep showing that nothing can stop you!
Exceptional race and wonderful sportsmanship 🔥💪🏼
Pura vida!!! 🇨🇷🇨🇷🇨🇷
First paralympic medal for Costa Rica 🇨🇷🇨🇷🇨🇷🇨🇷🇨🇷
That was explosive 🧨
That was an amazing race!!!
NOW THAT WAS A GOOD RACE!
Floors really floored it at the end it was like he flipped on the boost how fast he just got all of a sudden
I know there tremendously gifted athletes but this is the kind of race to make everyone sit up and take notice
Very inspiring, never give up at the end.
Great race.. too bad Peacock decelerated too fast & was caught up on the line. Mighty sporting spirit by all runners at the end.. the hugs said it all 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Congrats all four winners 👌
Well done gentlemen. Congrats to the winner.
These guys can run so fast , I would have never imagined . Bravo.
Wow, I’m so impressed with all these athletes 😎😎🤩🤩
Wow. Such an amazing race
I have both legs and they'd for sure dust me
Dude I'm so mad I JUST did a presentation on Jonnie Peacock's 10.81 in 2016 and here's a vid of that being absolutely crushed by Streng. I feel guilty not putting him in the final presentation
Wow, just wow....how fast.
Loved the race and commentary.
Please include all the participants times for comparison
These runners are the real heroes.
These guys are extraordinary
10.76 is amazing time
Pura vida 🇨🇷🇨🇷🇨🇷
10 seconds dosent seem like much, but what a race there
Thanks for uploading.
Blazing finish!
amazing race amazing people.
3:29 😍
Great race 😀!
I am lost for words in the results for 3rd place.
Wow! That was so close. Every point second counts especially on a race and competition to determine who the winner is.
Incredible competition 👍👍👍
Not me wondering why the guy with two actual legs wasn’t winning at first😂
Probably because he only has half of his right foot lol
@@ThatWeirdoRightThere yeah I realized😂
Woodhall had a very bad reaction time and could have done better. Anyway his better event is the 400m
Superb
Good job fellaa talk about a tight race...
10 second 100m without half of your right leg ... wow
Wait a minute did you all see that? Just incredible!
What an amazing race. 🎉🎉🎉🎉👏👏👏👏
I absolutely adore them 🔥✨🔥
why dont they show all of the times?
Sherman Guity ❤️🇨🇷
I love how all are inclusive.
Hats off to these talented, fast, courageous men! 3/100's of a second??-Give all 4 a gold medal!!
They fast af!!
amazing ! run
Wow never seen that before tie for bronze
Awesome race.
🗣Wow! Wow! Wow! Photo finish!!!!!! Bravo guys! Bravo!
Impressive times that's for sure
Faster than all of us watching
Beautiful
Is it me or it seems pretty obvious who won third if you judge it by their head crossing the line.
Head doesn't matter, chest is what is used to determine a winner. That's why you see red lines cutting straight across the neck onto the first part of the chest on photo finishes.
That was a good race!!
This how I run to the toilet after eating Taco Bell.
What a race
The guy with two legs running against guys with only one running against guys with none?
3:29 sums up this video on many accounts
Hunterrrrrr ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Bruh they were running as fast as the likes of elaine thompson and shelly ann Lmao
10.76! 😲
👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
These guys are as fast as the fastest women in the world and they only have one leg.
I'm so sad that Hunter Didn't do better
What happened to Hunter he was so good at the last Olympics
Surprised hunter came in last
It looks like he got a slow start and never recovered
Thinking of cutting off my legs to compete next year. Looks fun
💀
OMGG BROOO!!💀💀
For the fact these guys beat Richardson with no legs
you are awful 🤣
Should've been the first goldmedal for Bolivia... anyway.
great race!!! comments are unnecessary - just enjoy!!!
*They are so good despite of their physical, u know what I mean.*
*But I'm still in pain while watching them on speed. Ok, what are the reasons why they've been amputated?*
WoW!😳
🏅👏👏👏👏👏
Congrats ! 💖💖💖💖💖
looks like they have an advantage with those foot springs
Nah because bro with springs on both was last place.
@@ak6877 It’s definitely an advantage in longer distances, but I’m not sure about shorter distances
100%
Amazing
Streng is fine!!!
Bro got gapped
Completely unrelated, but these men are very attractive
Hunter!
