Fascinating and useful as always. However, isn’t it high time Adobe privileged their After Effects customers with a straightforward, less fiddly work around?
Thank you for your comment! The After Effects tracker is capable of extrapolating data based on previous frames. It analyzes textures rather than specific features like an "eye," so even if the texture changes from frame to frame, it can adapt and compensate effectively. You can also hold OPTION/ALT to manually reposition the tracker, or better yet, utilize Mocha AE for more advanced tracking. These techniques, along with others, are covered in additional tutorials on this channel.
Awesome! Thanks a lot!!! 👏👏👏
Glad you liked it!

Thanks! Adobe addressed this 12 years ago with Mocha AE, but this offers another option if you'd prefer not to use it.
Amazing. Is there a way to do this in mocha though?
Thanks! mocha works a bit different, watch this video to learn more: ua-cam.com/video/1eObluhX268/v-deo.html

It didn't workkkkk😭😭
Sorry to hear that. You can also try to extend the comp size and use the extrapolate method, or to track with Mocha Ae.
