You make it sound so easy. It´s cheating a bit I think. I have tried shooting myself on a tripod just removing my glasses and tried tracking them with absolutely no luck. Very frustrating. Also, when I set the in and out points from AE in Mocha they don´t add up at all. Bugs in the software or in my head?
Great tutorial, I just have one Question. The process of adding the insert (at 16:19) solves the Problem of the different resolutions, but the inserted Image on the board is still being distorted by this process. Am I correct? If yes, how can I make sure that my Image is inserted correctly? Is it basically necessary for the planar Surface to have the same aspect Ratio as my insert-image?
I'm having trouble tracking a screen with one of the corner always off screen, that corner is sliding throughout the clip. I already try using adjacent part to track but doesn't workany suggestions?
I start to use mocha, and no file is selected. Nothing is getting sent from AE to Mocha. HELP! (yes I selected the clip in the timeline from AE before selecting track in mocha in Animation tab)

real good soft, a first class top one tool (i know, i get it !)... but sooooooooo complicated !!!! so horribly complicated, sometimes, contrary to what it seems watching your tutorials ! thx anyway. ;p
Hey there. Very good tutorial! I tried to use the different tracking options (including mocha AE) on footage that I've shot. It just doesn't work for ma footage. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I don't know. The video shows the moon and something small flying over the surface of the moon or it' orbiting the moon. The camera zoomes in and out and it a little bit shaky sometimes. So it's very difficult to track. I would like to track the path of this flying objekct and draw the flying path. Could you give me any help, please?
It's too COMPLEX!!!!!!!!!. . You need to tell your software developer to make it more simple. Most of the stuff you were doing doesn't make sense, you just know to do it due to previous history with using it. That's wrong.
I agree with you because I believe she is a reading from a script. Also many presenters of technical issues are chosen to host because the know the least about the topic.
I know this is an old comment but this goes for everyone who agrees with you: If it's "too COMPLEX!!!!!!" then you shouldn't even be watching this tutorial in the first place. It's obviously gonna look complex if you're new to AE, but if you watch a lot of beginner tutorials first then it will all make perfect sense. Don't rush too much if you're trying to learn an amazing advanced program like AE. It will need some patience.

What we are going to do is afterall cheat. Seems the word cheat hits different to the narrator
Mary often says "cheat" when doing the manual corrections. If it can't be done perfectly, you cheat it until it looks right.
