Also, for straight uppercut, I tend to go at it from below, rather than the side. Just a different way to try it if you want.
Also worth mentioning uppercut>kick>straight is useful on pillar and wall for arcing over walls and stuff. Uppercut>kick on pillar for short range vaulting, and uppercut>kick>straight for long range pillar or short range wall vaulting

for straight uppercut, when you say from below do you mean you drag your hand from up to down? or up from below?

@@go.outside2 if you think about straight kick, people usually say to have your arm extended and start above straight to swipe down through it. So it's kinda like that in reverse. My off hand is in position for straight, with my arm extended a little below where straight should be, and then I swing up into straight and swing at my elbow into an uppercut after that

I just think it would be helpful to specify that you need to walk forward while doing some of the combos, I spent about 10 minutes trying to learn the uppercut kick straight combo from a black belt without voice chat and I kept failing because I was standing still
