    Earth Bending Science! The game only begins at black belt, but after unlocking all the moves, you are left to your own devices. I put together a skill progression tree to help you get good. This is just my own opinion, but if you have any suggestions or additions let me know in the Rumble Kai discord.

On the second day I practiced a little bit more against howard then went into my first match, I was put against a green belt but I didn't really care too much because I knew I could consistently disc, pillar and punch, I ended up losing but I was still able to give him a run for his money. • @shoeless_man
      @shoeless_man  9 місяців тому +2

      this 'please don't subscribe' message is backfiring smh. But thanks for the support. Are you able to do the poses when at the pose ghost? Rumble is no joke hard, sometimes it takes a couple sesssions and a few days for our muscle memory to kick in so dont be discouraged! Even though people can do the poses at the tutorial area, they make little mistakes when they move away from it. The neutral pose can have a lot of range so hopefully you can find somewhere within it that is more comfortable for you. You can have your hands at your waist like a karate stance, or you can have your fists out infront of you at 90 degrees like a dragon ball Z stance. The position of the controllers in 3D space isn't as strict as the rotational position of the controllers, so for new plays its good to visualize the moves e.g. neutral postion, then one hand turns sideways and punches out, other hand turns inward over my chest, thats disc. You can also do the moves really slowly to and when they get in the right position, the character hands close, you can use that to see the range of end poses. I hope that helps and i get to see you in the arena

    This Definately shows how benders can get taken out at close range. Bending is a lot of movements that are only useful for bending, and is best down as range most of the time

    • @shoeless_man
      @shoeless_man  5 місяців тому

      was it actually ASL?? that is cool. In the early days of Rumble there was no voice chat. So we were forced to come up with our own signs to communicate. We still use those signs today! Although it can be tricky because to new players when you parry it looks like you are trying to tell them to stop haha

    • @koyody
      @koyody 5 місяців тому

      @@shoeless_man Yeah! it seems extremely Adapated from the ASL uses in Vrchat! there are a ton of resources and videos about the deaf Vrchat community, and I was a teacher and Tutor for VrASL back when my vr stuff was working :) it's very cool! I'd recommend looking into it!

      It has a small but dedicated community that is growing. You have to play at peak times, but you will find a match. It's best to join the discord because then you can ping other people to fight. US has the most active servers, so even though I'm from Australia I play most matches there. There is lag, but since it's host/client every time you rematch someone the host switches and so you won't get any lag. These just released an update so it's a perfect time to get into it. Sry for the essay, I just know you will love rumble if you stick with it and get past the hard learning curve.

      @@firecats5391 heck yeah! make sure you join the discords. our timezones might not align but eventually, we should get a match ;) don't be afraid to ask someone to train you on the rumblekai discord, such a good community.
