Absolute banger, this is exactly why I invested so much time and the start, I knew these was so much complexity the community would find. And it can only get better as new moves are added. Took a break but I think it’s time to get back and learn everything in this video. More moves and quest support and Rumble could get the love it deserves
Probably the most entertaining combos introduction I've seen for Rumble! I'll have a blast practicing some of these new ones I didn't know about. Struppercut really seems like the most useful fusion move with lots of applications, but my poor wrists can't take doing it too many times. I have it down, but the strain the sudden twisting absolutely obliterates it. It's also the only move I've learned with both hands just for the sake of alleviating the strain.
Dude I don't event own a VR set and I watched the entire thing like it was some crazy good documentary. You have to keep the series up, I didn't realize there was so much possible in Rumble :O
This was such a well made video. You did an amazing job at organizing and demonstrating the progression in the game. It was like watching an entertaining lecture on rumble. I hope you continue making videos on Rumble with the same format.

I bought this game a couple days ago and spent the entire first day just training, I didn't even go into a match because I knew I'd just get toasted by not knowing how to consistently get these moves. On the second day I practiced a little bit more against howard then went into my first match, I was put against a green belt but I didn't really care too much because I knew I could consistently disc, pillar and punch, I ended up losing but I was still able to give him a run for his money. With a little more practice I think I might win my next one
wow, still impressive to dedicate yourself to the first three moves. You have a bright rumble career ahead of you I can tell. Remember you still get points even for a loss and will level up to unlock new moves pretty quickly.
fucking incredible. when this game out i was really sad earth is the only element we got. but jesus fucking christ, earth alone is SO COMPLEX i dont think i could learn anymore elements to be the avatar. i cant even do fusion moves. i'm still mastering spawning a rock, grounding it and straighting it.

Considering the quality of your videos... with 140 subs...Im subbing now before you grow XD. Nice info, nice video. Any tips for a beginner struggling mostly with neutral pose? I have some wrist issues stopping me from turning the controller far enough out for it to register.
this 'please don't subscribe' message is backfiring smh. But thanks for the support. Are you able to do the poses when at the pose ghost? Rumble is no joke hard, sometimes it takes a couple sesssions and a few days for our muscle memory to kick in so dont be discouraged! Even though people can do the poses at the tutorial area, they make little mistakes when they move away from it. The neutral pose can have a lot of range so hopefully you can find somewhere within it that is more comfortable for you. You can have your hands at your waist like a karate stance, or you can have your fists out infront of you at 90 degrees like a dragon ball Z stance. The position of the controllers in 3D space isn't as strict as the rotational position of the controllers, so for new plays its good to visualize the moves e.g. neutral postion, then one hand turns sideways and punches out, other hand turns inward over my chest, thats disc. You can also do the moves really slowly to and when they get in the right position, the character hands close, you can use that to see the range of end poses. I hope that helps and i get to see you in the arena

It really seems to happen in game most. I'll nail it in lobby, but in game I can't get it to cooperate. More practice it is. Reminds me of the good ol days on Gunz the duel. I want to play rumble right now to practice these but my brother is using my computer for something called “college” didn’t know I need college to be a rumble player.
Just want you to know that your videos have convinced me to buy this game. I thought that it was really promising, but after looking at the steam page for the game I thought that it wasn’t going to be that good. After watching these videos, I can’t wait to start playing. I’m going to dedicate myself to being as good at the game as I can
usually when I play this game and get hit while attempting a pillar or something, my brain just short circuits because it cant handle so much information and I end up just standing there while my opponent just unleashes a barrage of discs and balls
Great video! Helped me figure out countless combos that are carrying me through the game!!! I just can't seem to figure out the straight into kick... Everything else took under 10 minutes to learn. Thanks shoeless!!
Great to hear! I think SD has a good video on that. Make sure your hand is way above the straight position so it only triggers when you are swiping down. then during the swing, tuck your hand in a little, it can help you better hit the kick position.
I did it mom! I finally found a game that would be worth streaming. Because there's nothing in my life that the people around me would love more than to watch me. Struggle for 7 days straight and then become a God Earth Bender. (Kek it's gonna take me so long to learn this game but I'm STOOOOKED)
not sure if this was mentioned but you can ground a disc right after shooting it and it acts like a land mine or you can hit it and it does double damage since its grounded
With this much you can do, a game where they have the other 3 bending styles would be crazy. Maybe not mixing like earth vs water fights, but having dif boards you could play on, and maybe having a master board of where the players have access to swapping elements during rounds.
was it actually ASL?? that is cool. In the early days of Rumble there was no voice chat. So we were forced to come up with our own signs to communicate. We still use those signs today! Although it can be tricky because to new players when you parry it looks like you are trying to tell them to stop haha
@@shoeless_man Yeah! it seems extremely Adapated from the ASL uses in Vrchat! there are a ton of resources and videos about the deaf Vrchat community, and I was a teacher and Tutor for VrASL back when my vr stuff was working :) it's very cool! I'd recommend looking into it!
This Definately shows how benders can get taken out at close range. Bending is a lot of movements that are only useful for bending, and is best down as range most of the time
I can't quite play the game yet, but this looks so cool. I wonder if there is some tutorial about IRL stuff like positioning, stretching, mental preparation, and physical performance.

If you look at the skill tree there is a TBC section on combo loops (should add extended combos too) that pretty much says IDK talk to magic XD

The main problem with rumble is that I have to take breaks so I don't get repetitive strain injury.
Funny thing is, I never needed to learn how to get that Spidey sense, probably because I did a lot of things that required that, but in real life
