    This is exactly what I search right now. Mainly fletching, which fletching machine to buy and which fletching I should add to mine arrows. And not only for barebow and recurve but also for the traditional longbow, without rest and button.
    So thank you. You become mine first Patreon supported artist. :-)

    Wow! Thanks! I was just thinking an hour ago if I should start building my own arrows because I just ordered a bunch from my pro shop. Perfect timing!

    Just got an email from my dealer. My arrows are ready to be picked up. Can’t wait to start building them, and start tuning the bow.

    Keep up the content Jake much appreciated i hve a question how do you put on spin wings so the button is pushing against the stiff side of the arrow without turning the nock for clearance.

    Jake, can I ask what you'd recommend for a good weight difference margin for a matched set of self cut and assembled arrows? I know for olympic shooting the weights should almost be the same, but for local County shoots what's a good weight difference (in grains) to aim for? Thanks.

      In general yes, unless you change point weights dramatically or arrow length. Also if you change from parallel arrows to barreled or tapered arrows.

    Dear Jake,
    Is there any benefits from having a heavier/lighter arrow for target archery?

    • @JakeKaminskiArchery
      @JakeKaminskiArchery  3 роки тому

      Heavier, drifts less in the wind if it is also smaller, lighter is good for shooting field archery but may not be as accurate or forgiving.

    Why do you fletch the aluminiumarrow left handed when you are right handed archer? Doesn't that makes the arrow counterspin? Making the arrow become like a round cannonball at first and when it starts to spin only a few meters from the taget.

    We should all buy components, equipment and tools from our local independent archery shops.

      Agree, but a lot of places worldwide are shut down still and people still have that itch scratch!

    You can also build your own arrow saw for about $50. I did.
