Neil Diamond: Continuum II “We Wrote A Song Together”

Ultra Rare! Vinyl pressing found on Ebay. This was recorded approx 1976-1977. Neil is hosting some sort of music/songwriting workshop at his studio. On side one of the record, he introduces the kids to the band, and the instruments they play. Neil and the band perform "Beautiful Noise" and an instrumental called "Voodoo." On side two of the record, you hear the kids messing around on the multiple instruments and then Neil works with the kids on a little song about their day. They called the song "We Wrote A Song Together' and they play it at the end of side two. This is a direct transfer from the vinyl. I have added no effects whatsoever to the recording. This record was never released commercially and appears to be limited to pressings for the students and maybe some of the teachers of the class. The record sleeve I received with the vinyl was addressed to one of the kids and signed by Neil. This is one of the rarest Neil recordings out there!

He’s such a gentle guy. You can tell he feels - his warmth and genuine love for everyone in that studio just comes through his speaking voice.
Of course, for decades, it has shone through his music, lyrics and singing voice. Cannot not love Neil Diamond ♦️ ❤❤❤

what was the ebay price for the LP?
Record guides listed this at $1000 - $2000.

Paid less than half that. Came from a WI Goodwill EBay listing. Not sure they comprehended what they had. I was leery of what the vinyl quality would be but it was packed extremely well and the vinyl looked almost perfect when I got it. I played it once to do the transfer and put it right back in its sleeve.
