Can I make a point though. What may make you inclined to think that the bass isn't as good may simply be because you haven't yet positioned it against a wall bro. Positioning such speakers on a bedside table, kitchen bench top and what not will radiate bass waves firing towards you. I mean i'm not 100% on where you've placed it now, but if it's anywhere in the centre of a room thats probs why the bass.. you know.

The bass on the 500 is great with the mids and highs supreme. I find it sounds best with rock, blues, jazz, R&B, soul, East Bay funk and reggae. What I got it for last week mainly was to connect to my Samsung 55" Premium UHD 4K Curved Smart TV in my bedroom and it sounds fantastic for that. It works perfect in a 11 x 13 room. I opted for this instead of the Bose Soundbar 500 as my first wireless home speaker purchase and I can expand later. Keep those reviews coming.

Yes it's very good if you're looking for rich bass and crispy, crystal-clear sound. If you're always listening to vocals and piano, you should choose Bang & Olufsen
Love your tracks man. I've had the Bose SoundDock 10 for years, which is a beast. The only downside is that is not a Smart one. Not sure this Bose HS 500 would be a good replacement for the SoundDock 10. Great review by the way!!!

No doubt that Bose make great speakers but ......... I was very disappointed that I could not access my in home NAS (network attached storage) through the Speaker 500 & Soundbar 500. Come on Bose update the firmware on this range to allow for access to our internal LAN's via WiFi or wired connections to enable NAS access. Paid cloud services are great but what about all the personal music libraries that we all have.

I'm more of a sonos guy Sonos have been in the wifi speaker market longer than anyone else they have so much support from all the music services big and small that Bose lacks and google I love being able to hop into google play music on my note 8 and cast to my sonos speakers directly from the app same thing in Samsung music Alexa is crap though cant wait for google assistant

you dont play sound test review at max volume because it will cut down the bass for protection. 70-80% should be good!
