At $400 I almost bought one. I bought the echo studio and returned it. They dropped the price to $300 so I got the Bose home speaker 500. I hope it impresses me more than the echo studio.
No doubt that Bose make great speakers but ......... I was very disappointed that I could not access my in home NAS (network attached storage) through the Speaker 500 & Soundbar 500. Come on Bose update the firmware on this range to allow for access to our internal LAN's via WiFi or wired connections to enable NAS access. Paid cloud services are great but what about all the personal music libraries that we all have.
The album art displays, you have to start the app first. The start playing your music, it will show then. Keep in mind, I'm not playing music that has artwork to show. (Meta tags) Mine works though...
Just brought the 300 for my bed room and the 500 for my living room they’re both incredible!

When you asked Alexa for the weather my Alexa answered and gave me our weather. Lol
