She’s doing great! Such a smooth scooter and it looks fantastic, I like the looks of those motorcycles, it has that adventure bike look, very sporty, clean lines

Thanks, it’s been my experience with these Lifan bikes that the oil that gets shipped with the bike is good oil and I usually keep it in until about 35 miles until all the parts play together for a while. Then I drain it and refill with my favorite oil. In years past on my first bike I had shipped to me the oil in that bike was different and had an odd smell so I drained it immediately. That was about 8 bikes ago and 6 years ago. But honestly if you have any question about the oil then yes please do change the oil, it doesn’t take very much so it would be less than $10 in most cases. Thanks for the reply

Unfortunately things do happen, I have a Yamaha FJR 1300 that I just replaced the engine on with only 37k miles and they normally go well over 100k miles. Maintenance is the key to longevity of an engine, changing oil regularly, valve adjustments, coolant change and flush, cleaning and adjusting the cvt belt and things of that sort help tremendously. Of course there are still times when things just happen, if it’s mechanical it will fail eventually. Our hope is that it will last as long as possible. Thanks for sharing the information and I hate that you had to go through that.
Hello, is it turning over on its own with the ignition off, or starting on its own with the ignition off? If it’s turning over with the ignition off then a bad starter relay is what I would be looking at. The primary side of the relay would have to be stuck closed and that would spin the starter until the battery went dead I would think. If it’s actually starting on its own, I don’t even know if that is possible. Too many things would have to go bad at once for that to happen. Do you have a remote start added onto the bike?

If you haven't yet, be sure to drain and change the oil it came with. Its a very cheap oil just meant to prevent rusting while in transport.
