Mostly I started riding again after my injuries from work and I got myself a 2007 Piaggio mp3 250 IE and I started restoration make it more safety on the roads I talk to my cousin work for Sheriff Department and told make sure running real and upgrade all the lights!! Herbies Garage
I been watching videos on the Lifan kpv 150 and it nice bike and I thinking getting one but I have been under doctor care from injuries got from work and I now Diabetic and seeing a doctor for that too!
My plan is to buy this scooter but I live in Houston and while I would not go without a helmet I can't wear all of that gear. I would pass out or be wet with sweat in our climate. Thing is I do not plan on freeway trips or really going above 30-35 MPH period! I ride an electric bike and while wet have flown off of it twice so I have no desire to go faster. My #1 rule is no wet weather riding and #2 is to not go over 30-35 MPH. I am doing my research to see if I have any other gear options for this climate though.
Hello Ray, they do make vented jackets which mine in the video is, nothing you wear will feel cool on super hot days that’s for sure. This scooter is capable of doing 60 mph plus possibly up to 70mph. I am told that it is possible to get close to 100 mpg although I wouldn’t know yet. It is a very nice scooter for sure, Venom has a $100 off program going right now too. Tell them Herbie sent you 😊
Good video except for one thing, always Mount and dismount a motorcycle from the right hand side. Getting on and off from the left side can be potentially life-threatening.
@@olheghtt I’m not sure where you heard that from but when the bike is leaning on the left side kickstand it makes it much more difficult to mount on the right side especially if you have a tall bike
@herbiesgarage681 it's actually common knowledge, there's a couple of reasons why you mount from the right hand side. Number one if you lose balance and fall into the bike, the side stand supports the bike and you from falling over. Number two, if you lose your balance and fall getting on or getting off from the left side you run the risk of falling out into traffic. That's why all police departments train motor officers to mount and dismount from the right hand side. It's for safety, and it's mandatory. If you have a hard time clearing your leg over a tall bike, you can step up onto the side peg and swing your leg over.
@@herbiesgarage681 vids about mounting and dismounting are common on UA-cam. I just pulled this one up randomly. I didn't watch it but I really don't need to. I know what it is going to cover ua-cam.com/video/gw3wshcxS9Y/v-deo.htmlsi=-T15JVNK-6YVTAvf
@ I’m sorry but that’s not for me. I mount my bikes on the left side and have never had a problem. I do foresee several problems with mounting on the right side. I guess we’ll just have to agree to disagree on this one.
