  • Hey team, join us this week for some land based fishing at Cape York as we head back out to Seisa Jetty for an action packed day. Last week, Shane told us the story of how he lost a Queenie to a MASSIVE Queensland Groper but amateurs that we are we didn't get it on camera! So, join us this week as we try our best to catch some dinner.

It’s just all bait fish out in the jetty you should go on a charter or something cause that’s where you catch the big stuff

We hooked up to a bloody huge QLD grouper off this jetty so don’t underestimate it. Not that we could ever land it with our gear haha!
Not sure if you’ve seen any of our other videos too we do have our own boat… was just having a bit of fun off the jetty this day 🙌🏻

The queene looked alright. Never seen a person reel in that fast he definitely should have got a prize. I caught a shark 🦈 in chilly beach 🏖️ ate like king's and plenty in the freezer.
On a different note how do you Melbourne Weather ,😁

@@lifeina4wd sorry about the late response 😁. I left my house about lunchtime shorts and thongs on , towards my getaway property ,2 and a half hours away at the Grampians/halls gap. I was scrambling to find my jacket and pants,it was 14degrees🌧️ brrrr. Put the wood for on and fell asleep until this morning, still bloody Cold. I wonder when summer starts? Found one redfin somehow beached itself out of my dam ABOUT 350mm long dead like a Maget what a waste. How long you down for?

@@tadeuszmichaelwlodarczyk3120 Hey hey! Don't apologise, we have taken days to respond! Finally getting a bit of warmer weather though. Hope you enjoyed your stay at your getaway home! Although not ideal re redfin.
We are down around Melbourne until start of Jan and then head to Tassie - can't wait.

@@lifeina4wd hi again finally some warmer weather and sunshine 🌞 been 3different trip's to Tassie. West coast , central right down the southern end, and the west coast. Must admit at Saint Helens caught the most fish 🐟 When you start touring. You will think you stepped back in time. Nearly forgot 😅 when in the middle of Tassie in the high land's theirs a big lake lots of trout boat's it is aloud if you got 2or 3 week's you will do the whole island 🏝️. Just Watch out for the two headed ferals 🤣. It's a Melbourne joke. Have Fun👍🤠 Heading back to the property for a couple of weeks on Xmas. Merry Christmas 😁

Here's a hot tip, don't let the locals see you throw back a queenfish or trevally, offer it to them first, they would love to eat them.

Great tip, we actually started keeping them and having them sashimi and they were AMAZING.
