"We're suffering from thirst": Sudanese refugees in Chad

Let’s #TalkAboutSudan. At Al-Acha camp in #Chad, water is scarce. This camp in Chad is home to about 50,000 people, among more than 600,000 #refugees and returnees who have fled #Sudan since the war broke out nearly a year ago.
Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) water and sanitation technician, Sharaf Aldin, led us through the camp and shared the difficulties people face to secure #water. “They are waiting sometimes for two days and they are not getting water,” he said. “We are suffering from thirst.”
Our teams are working in several locations in eastern Chad, providing #maternalcare and surgical care, water and sanitation, and care for people with malnutrition, malaria, and other diseases. However, advanced efforts are needed to support this vulnerable community.

We who live in the western countries, can definitely help in the situation. How can I participate in setting more water pump wells in Chad for the refugees? Are there companies which are able to dig them? Please share the info

The hunger pangs are not satisfied. Between time.. life.. Fight for time and minutes. Between sorrow and joy. There are many souls suffering from hunger. If you come to relieve hunger... Those of us who have eaten, how do we understand hunger? Look at the poor boys. Hungry hungry. Look at the longing face, hunger. Endless hunger pangs.
