3 Ingredient Scones

Ingredients:
3 ½ cups self-rising flour, sifted. (if you don’t have self-rising flour add 2 tsp baking powder for every 1 cup of regular flour)
1 cup of lemon soda like Sprite.
1 cup of non-dairy whipping cream. I used Silk, look for the highest fat content.
Note: He didn’t add salt. You may want to add a pinch but that makes these 4 ingredient scones .
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Sift flour into a large bowl.
Add 1 cup lemon soda.
Add 1 cup thick whipping cream.
Add pinch of salt if desired.
Using a butter knife mix the ingredients in the bowl until combined.
Dump out onto lightly floured surface and using hands knead a couple of times to make it into a ball of dough.
Press the dough into a square about an inch thick.
Cut into desired shape, he does squares.
Place scones into a parchment lined baking dish. Fairly close together.
Brush tops with a bit of the cream.
Bake 20 minutes.
Allow to cool before enjoying.
