Can I Average 30km/h Solo on my 13 year old bike?

So a personal challenge here, I've got my 13 year old Carerra TDF road bike and I want to see if I can average 30kh/h on a 40km route

Good work... You can get the chain back on while riding, drop the front mech to the little ring, rotate the pedals (no power, just rotate) and gently move the front mech to big ring. If you are lucky the front mech will push the chain near the slowly rotating chain rings and it will pick up. Does not always work, but I have had a good success rate over the years.

Strava always had slower times than Garmin head units record, if you have auto stop running on your head unit. This is part of the segment anti-chreating algorithm. Strava also usually has more elevation gain calculated.

Great work but I think it's just unsafe to do long ITT on public roads. Every red light, every dangerous situation sets you back and/or puts pressure on you. And under pressure we tend to make errors, potentially deadly. The lorry driver who kills us by accident, will be legally guilty but we are dead. I suggest picking a shorter, car free loop (2-5km) for time trial training.

The software is called "Telemetry Overlay', it's a bit expensive at $100, but very advanced. Any data you want to show there's probably a way to do it

If you've seen 189bpm, your max is probably higher than 190.
I have never seen my true max riding, no how hard I went. I did do an actual Max HR test twice (you should do it indoors for safety reasons).
My true max was 11bpm more than any highest HR I'd ever seen in a race or other effort.

The 189 was at the end of a zwift race after a sprint finish, so I think it's pretty close to the real value. But maybe there's a few more bpm to squeeze out 😂

In cricket or tennis you have "RAIN STOPPED PLAY"..... this video subtitle should be..... "CHAIN STOPPED PLAY".
So annoying for you! you'd have easily smashed the 30kmh avg without that mechanical interruption.
