- A few months back a channel I never heard of called Aba and Preach and Playback reacted to one of my videos on pretty privilege. Here is my take on what was said about me.

There is nothing wrong with being confident in yourself, I came from their channel and nowadays calling yourself beautiful can come across as being egotistical even when you were not intending it that way. And you seem like a sincere and self aware person who doesn't see herself as better than everyone so (as a fan of Aba and Preach) keep being you and doing what you want to do Toni :)
Came from Aba and Preach. Seriously, they weren't dragging you. And the way their foolishness is set up, that's just them and their channel. I watch them for the giggles because sometimes you just need a little crazy in your life. Their viewers who came to bully you did that on their own volition; it definitely wasn't at their (A&P) behest. Are you a lovely girl? Of course. Do you have pretty privilege? I'd imagine you do. Hell, they said it themselves. So don't let internet trolls (who would have bullied you with or without Aba and Preach) sway you. Do your thing.

And they also said there are disadvantages of being pretty...but the advantages far out way the advantages

I don't care if they said I was or wasn't pretty. People came to me telling me how obscene, vulgar, disgusting, disrespectful, and misogynistic the video was. If you think there was nothing wrong with that they said, you should prob take a humility class because it's clearly needed.

How can you just take the "opinions" of that video and just run with it and or seemingly be offended by it? I am not biased here but if you did or did not watch that video, there was nothing negative said about you or the content you were talking about. Their channel only makes jokes and give good opinions/criticisms. If there was any negativity it wasn't from that A&P, it may have been from just everyday people. Your videoes and content is actually good btw keep it up.

@@ToniBryanneTV Well ABA and preach like to take things out of context....I watched that video and it's like they thought you were bragging and complaining about being pretty....and they kept saying if you hate being so pretty you should maybe make your self ugly... using a knife...they kept skipping the video...and did not even listen to anything you said....
Which is common for ABA and preach..they had a similar scandal with Doja cat...where they tried to coke up with lies on her and she called them out ..
The thing with ABA and preach...alot of the times they make good videos...other times they are just the definition of straight black men..
Alot of there fanbase is straight black men..and alot of the tend to have a problem with bw calling themselves beautiful... especially if your not ambiguous..
It's a mix of colorism, mysogny, and just hate..
It has happened to so many black women everywhere even on you tube..
And by this they send there fans who are already dumb...to attach you...it's just dumb

2 things can be right at the same time....
Your very beautiful, and pretty people do face there own issues...but they made it seem like your dumb...and an air head...that was bragging about being pretty...and it's advantages...so there fans saw the need to come tell you you're not all it.
I had watched your video long before they even commented on it....so seeing there comments on your video was just weird...
Plus your video was caught on by one of the leading mysogny channels on yt....a channel ran by BM...that just critic bw constantly putting them down..

People dragging others over any reason they can get in interpersonal settings is an old ass abuse tactic meant to never make u comfortable in ur own decisions/skin, it ain’t new and a shame for genuine critique/interest in building up others to get lost in it :/
I watch aba and preaches stuff for a lot of reasons that mainly revolve around my interest in how internet communities develop and are influenced by algorithm (even ones that get toxic, for science ‘>>). Also when they more obviously know their stuff on a topic and seeing their tried and tested style in comedy and crowd reading being transferred to a digital format is interesting. I want to say the experience of folks who where introduced to the internet as adult have a very different understanding of the impact of it vs folk who grew up with it, ‘cause chances are to that branch of the internet it’s a dating/red pill click hole, but haven’t got hard proof for that so I’m just spitballing ‘^^. In any case they’re being reflective of the internet they know/that works for them, at least hopefully, ‘cause encouraging harassment of the subjects of their vids or ignoring that happens doesn’t sound smart.
Aba and preach didn’t drag your looks, but the disadvantage you receive from being pretty is far from the ones of being ugly, and it made you look insensitive to the actual struggles of being ugly. That was their main argument if you watched the video.The fact that none of y’all would rather be ugly than pretty says it all honestly. Has nothing to do with “hating on pretty or pretty black women” coming from a black women. The people that watch their videos and hated on you don’t reflect their opinion.
But the gag is where did I say pretty privilege was easier than being considered “ugly” or “below average”?😂😂😂 y’all are WAYY too funny lmao

As a woman who’s not into women romantically you are a very pretty girl without the makeup just as much as you are with the makeup . I think as long as a woman maintains her weight and keeps her skin clear she is beautiful and there are of course different bars of beauty where women fall but any woman has the potential to be beautiful if she puts in the work

They responded in a comedic manner bc they are comedians. A lot of the subs forget that when they watch their commentary. They poked fun and respectfully disagreed but it really wasn’t all that wild. You don't care what they said because you care more about painting yourself a victim than anything else. Parts of your language acknowledge that there might have been nothing wrong with their reaction to your video, at what point you state over and over that it's the people harassing you that you're taking issue with.
That literally could have come from any corner of the internet given that you've chosen to put yourself in this space to talk about very polarising topics.
Do you know how many of your follower leave your channel and go leave hate full or harassing comments on the channels you react or make social commentary on?

So here you are, You didn't watch the video, you have people clarifying things to you and bringing a different energy, but you don't associate them with coming from the A&P, you have the ones bringing hate and you decided to make a video to Name names on which direction they came from. You felt some type of way, and now you're tagging a commentary channel which does the same thing as you in a Video accusingly of Harassment.

Hey, this video was meant for my subscribers or women that have gone through men being nasty towards them. This video was truly meant to be authentic and show the real me and show my real emotions. They already “lost” by me not even giving them the time of day by watching the video. They did all of that commentary just for me to choose not to watch. I was more so referring to the comments I was receiving and letting people know bullying is not okay though I promise you it very rarely gets to me. I live my everyday life wonderfully not worried about an Aba and Preach or some random fan that has no life. So yes, I totally get what you mean, but I didn’t give them any satisfaction by wishing ill on them, talking down on them, or supporting their content. Thank you so much for your comment and advice! I watched the video and they didn't try to insult your looks. One of them actually found you attractive. Also, they showed a few pictures from your Instagram to make a point but they didn't post your Instagram account. I feel like they misunderstood your content thinking that you were complaining about being pretty while from my point of view, you were simply talking about some cons that come with being pretty from your experience. They were essentially saying that the reason why these men don't go for beautiful women is not necessarily what you think. It can sound harsh the way they critique people's content and I'm sure you might feel offended by the way they talk but it's nothing personal. They do that with everybody they make a commentary on. I feel like they made some assumptions about you from your appearance and made the video based on that. I personally think their assessment was wrong but I don't think they did it out of malice. I can also see why it would bother the person that's being talked about. The people who came for you are simply insecure themselves.

Lmfao A&P cannot control each and everyone of their viewers. They did not encourage their viewers to “bully” you, whoever came at you was their decision not A&P. If you’re gonna be a UA-camr you’re gonna have to deal with criticism just like any influencer, athlete, celebrity, artist, etc. If you can’t handle the heat whatsoever then you should probably consider a different path. While I do admit they were a little harsh, by calling you an airhead, and joking about your breast, etc.., they raise some good points by calling out your lack of self-awareness. Average to below average individuals just naturally have it harder than what society deems as pretty people. You might have not meant any harm with your video, but I can see why so many ppl took your video in bad taste.

Second I wasn't aware you even made a second video of the topic so I'll check that out for context.
Thirdly, that still doesn't take away the fact of the first pretty privilege video you made came off pretty insensitive and the issue ppl are having is that it seems like you're not even trying to acknowledge how insensitive your video came across, you even use the terms "ugly" then switch it to conventional, in the very video in question.
