The car feels a lot peppier now, it’s like instant torque when you step on the gas pedal now, the bigger throttle body goes hand & hand with the ported manifolds so I definitely recommend this install if your doing ported manifolds. I tried to do my best for a step by step tutorial, if you guys have any questions feel free to message me on Instagram @slw.2gr . Hope you guys liked the video !
Two things 1. Does it just make a little bit more power and two how high does it idle cause I think my idle stock .5 rpm to .7rpm and with the install how high does it idle cause I think the reason it so high in the video is the car computer learning the higher amount of air in the engine
I forgot to add the video where I install the adapter, but after you take off the bracket you can install the adapter, Make sure the URD is point up and you can read it facing you
Hello Im new to the Is350. Bought a 2006 in silver. Love the car. Question? Will only porting the upper intake manifold piece gain any power with 76mm tb and Cai/Long tube headers and rr tune?
I got mine for my 2014 gs350 f sport, installed it, driven for around 800 miles, throttle body relearned couple of times, but the engine is still idling high above normal.
@@yoboymax209 i ended up getting a new one and it fixed it, the one I had before came from one with hella miles and the butterfly valve wasn’t closing all the way.
Yeah it’s going to be a lil funky at first, but after letting the car warm up my idle was back to normal & I went for a test drive right after. Make sure to disconnect the battery before doing the install.
@@moneyfeign2073 i'm serious man, i had one. The money you would use on the 250 to mod it, save it and sell the 250, if you love is a lot than get an isf or is350

I guess the Lexus original intake will not fit after this mod...
*Great tutorial btw, very well explained, good volume,. no cheesy music 🎉
Intake manifold? What?

Have you faced any lean issues after installing the bigger TB and the ported manifold!?

What year was the tundra that you got the throttle body from ?????
What year is your is350 ? I have a 2010 gs350 trying to upgrade parts

Any difference now?
Trying to find this adapter plate in Australia is so hard. Any tips?😊
Dit you get a CEL after? I got po505 code after doing this.
You have a vacuum leak , check over everyone and make sure everything is bolted down correctly
Same thing I’m getting lmao
@@yoboymax209 i ended up getting a new one and it fixed it, the one I had before came from one with hella miles and the butterfly valve wasn’t closing all the way.
Am getting the same issue as well but when i look at my old one the butterfly is a bit open just like the new bigger TB? @nicogomez1661
What type of coil do you use and does it give better performance than the company’s original coil?
Did you get a check engine light? After install
No
How do you feel about the stock intake over the fsport I was thinking of keeping mine and putting a hole in the box lol
Putting a hole in the box will work the same as the F-sport box
Cool mod
yo i’m having trouble fitting mine, it’s madd closed, carb is already grinder down
Does it have to relearn how to idle after you do the bigger throttle body?

Alright alright so I’m gonna attempt to do these same mods to my sienna
Andddddd?! How did they go
you reccomend upgrading your throttle body before porting your manifolds?
My manifolds were already ported when I did this install, im FBO as of now, just working on getting on full e85 now
do i need ported manifolds for this to make a difference? or can i just run only the intake with this throttle body?
Yes you would and without a tune it's useless.
Get you a ggirlfrieend like that!
was this from 4.6 or 5.7L tundra ?
5.7
Is this exact throttle body upgrade possible for a 250
Don’t waste your money bro I had 250 and my biggest regret was wasting money on it save for the 350 trust me fam
Did you get any check engine light because I got a check engine light code (p0505) i put a tundra throttle body on my 2015 is350?
Did you disconnect the battery before doing the install ?
@@slw.2gr I didn’t do that. What happens if I didn’t do that
@@lengyyang371 that’s why you have a code
@@lengyyang371 erase the code, disconnect your battery and let the car sit for 30mins, after reconnect the battery and see if the code comes back

Would this fit on a 2gr fe v6 motor?

No just need to reset your ecu but a tune would be helpful
